I can play music, nature sounds or a heartbeat through it too! We are just learning about all our options but the cats love it! It comes with a portable monitor and I can take it with me all over the property. It even has night vision. Yes! I sure could have used this three years ago! Very happy to have it now though.

rubysmama I’m glad you enjoyed seeing a baby Banjo and Whistle. If I ever find a way to get video on here, they would really make you laugh. Especially when Whistle whistles. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee? Haaaaaaaaaaaam?

I think unless it's a really short video, you need to put it somewhere like Youtube.

Here is what we have been up to! My alarms had been going off around the house so we reinforced with new alarms, locks and window brackets.

rubysmama I did spend an entire day once to post a super short video of Jazzy in labor but I only managed it once and it was only a few seconds. A Whistle meow lasts too long. Lol
The system may not be purrfect but it seems to be working well so far.

Mamanyt1953 We caught our first visitor on camera! A friendly one. The son of a friend came by to check on us. He was very surprised to find me and Bj standing in the doorway. It’s so sweet to have someone check in on us and is greatly appreciated.

The kitties must have stayed up late last night watching each other on the monitor. It was very hard work setting everything up and then guarding everyone all night. All the kitties were still asleep after I had been up! This is a rare sight!

I think the kitties must have had fun last night. I’ve never seen Banjo and Whistle choose to sleep in that cage before. It must have been quite a party! Ummm. Come to think of it, maybe I better check the catnip supply. This seems a little suspicious.

Oh! I wish I had thought to see if the television was still warm! They also could have been watching Jason Galaxy, the Animal planet or even that show called Catfish. This could explain where Banjo gets some of her ideas! Thanks for the tip! I’ll check the TV tomorrow. Whoa! Just had another thought! Maybe Banjo has been buying all her stuff off the shopping channel! I’ll be checking the porch for FedEx deliveries.

Banjo must have gotten concerned that we need Froggies! We haven’t seen as many lately. I had put a tarp up at the door for privacy as I installed the new alarms and things and the Froggies didn’t seem to approve. I took the tarp away a couple of days ago but only a couple of frogs have been visible. I caught Banjo and some of the others staring outside. I kept trying to follow the eyes of the cats but....

Banjo and Whistle were staring out the glass.

Banjo seemed very agitated.

She couldn’t sit still and Whistle had his left ear back. ?

Then Banjo put her left ear back.

She kept changing the angle of her view. Looking in the Froggie resort? I can’t spot anything Banjo!

I went outside to see if I could spot anything.

Banjos’ expression! Lol Seriously Mom! Can’t you see?

Nothing inside the frog resort hotel except the pole I put inside to keep it from trapping any frog if the rain pushed it down.

I thought I might be seeing a frog deep inside the other beach rug but hard to tell in the dark. Nothing was moving.

When I looked back inside, Banjo was staring inside the pink rug again.

There is nothing in there Banjo!

What ARE you seeing?

Her gaze was following something but I saw nothing.

I started moving everything to be sure. Nope! I even unrolled the beach rugs and looked through the leaves of the hanging basket. Absolutely nothing! No frogs either.

Time for some magic mom!

As a Dad, I’ll help my Banjo out.

I will make a BJ wish.

I checked Froggie out, He’s safe and sound in the bubble wrap bag! Lol It’s moist and I have the bag hanging up on the door under where the porch light will shine tonight. . I expect it will have bugs inside by nightfall. Smart Froggie or very special magic! I guess it could be nice to spend some time inside a protective bubble. If the cats all sleep too late, We’ll have plenty of kisses to wake the Sleeping Beauties!

Awwww! Maybe some of the fairy magic will go to that Banjo cousin and the kitty will get a loving home with friends and frogs. If you are there when kitty gets adopted, you can tell them that it’s bound to be a very smart kitty.

Another kitty went home from the local shelter yesterday. Our neighbor's daughter got it, and Michele was sent a picture of it. I couldn't believe it, as the cat is a virtual twin of Burdock, with the same swirling black markings on it's sides. It is an adult cat, but how old it is I don't know.

I loved Pepe Le Pew, likely because of the cat. But now as an adult, it seems less cute, and more stalker-ish. But then likely most of the cartoons we grew up watching probably wouldn't pass the political correctness test these days.
