I definitely quit after the first one. Not my cup of tea.For those who love that bit of slapstick, the later Miss Fortune books have more of it. For those who don't, quit while you're ahead!
I misspoke. It was Firefly Lane I borrowed, and I've started reading it. So far enjoying it very much. Hopefully I can finish it before the 14 days since I also have a couple other books going. I guess I can re-borrow it if I don't. I'm also reading By the Hands of Men, Book 1, by Roy M Griff. That is Kindle Unlimited (the complete series) so it's no rushmisty8723 : Fly Away is book 2. I'll be interested to see if you agree with me that it is HIGHLY suspect! The next book for my book club is: Cutting with Scissors".... about a kid from a dysfunctional family, who is taken in by a psychiatrist and his fully dysfunctional family... That was fast. What did you think of them? I really liked book 1, but found book 2 a bit disappointing. I think probably since Tully spentYou are right about it being a fast read, I just finished book 2.
I enjoyed both of them, thanks for the suggestion! I wasn't sure I would, but spent most of the day yesterday reading book two. Which was good because I was just too tired to do anything else. I have read other books by that author, but not sure which ones at the moment. It would have been a long time ago. That was fast. What did you think of them? I really liked book 1, but found book 2 a bit disappointing. I think probably since Tully spentmost of it in a coma. I did like learning about her mother's history, though
