, I'm planning on (hopefully!) making that wonderful looking cajun rice you shared this weekend or early next week. I even wrote your name next to the ingredients on our shopping list!
Tonight we are trying some chicken thighs (boneless, skinless, super tender) wrapped in bacon cooked at a super low temp (250 deg.F) for about 2 hours. Bacon low cooked isn't usually the best, so once it's done, we plan to remove the bacon, let the chicken rest for 15 minutes or so, and then toss the bacon (cut up) into a pan with various veggies (green beans, zucchini and peppers tonight) as a side. If it's a go, it's on the menu from now on. If it sucks, it's not. Fingers crossed!
The cats areanxiously angrily awaiting some rabbit and organs (boneless meal night) and the dogs are waiting for their tripe and turkey chunks.
For the dogs, we scored some chunks of green tripe that they'll enjoy chewing and tearing through, and I'll enjoy feeding them outdoors and gagging, LOL.
