I haven't had meat in over 10 years, so maybe I've forgotten what it's like, but I thought the Beyond burger was pretty meat-like. Course maybe it's because it's cooked on the same grill as meat.I tried the Beyond burger and that tasted nothing like meat but we'll see.
Cool. I like their current veggie burger, but I'll probably try the impossible burger if they bring it to the Canadian restaurants.BK is bringing the Impossible burger to the lineup of Whoppers on the menu.
So, about all those yummy sounding desserts you mention, do you make them? Or are they store bought?nd dessert will be a cherry carob brownie
I agree totally. Haven't been through their drive thru, so don't know it it's mentioned or not. But if it is, I suspect it would be easy to overlook. It's fine to be upfront on a webpage but shouldn't there be something on their drive thru menu that tells people that? It seems a little disrespectful.
Some are better than others, but I always have to take a second look, just to ensure it's the veggie burger, as they look pretty real to me.I haven't had a veggie burger in a long, long time. I'm sure they're better now than they were in the 70's, it was like eating a rubber frisbee
Maybe lard?A vegetarian at the last job claimed that boxed brownie mixes contain beef fat. I didn't believe it and went through all the boxed mixes at the supermarket. None contained beef fat or any sort of meat product. No idea why that person made that claim
McDonalds has beef flavoring in their French fries and they didn't tell vegetarians for years.
Yes, beef tallow. And Google tells me McDonalds Canada stopped using it in 2007. Not sure about the US restaurants though.Isn't it beef tallow?
