What's For Dinner? - 2019

Let's see...last night I grazed. I was sent a WONDERFUL Harry and David gift box, with three-seed crackers, Gouda and pepper jack cheeses, a small salami, and four luscious pears...so...I had some of that for supper, with a pear for dessert. It was so good I MIGHT do it again tonight! If not, probably fish sticks, since I forgot to thaw hot dogs, and the fish sticks don't require thawing. Regardless, THERE WILL BE A PEAR!!!
Lasagna, --a really super comfort food was needed.
i'll have a hot open-faced turkey sandwich, and a slice of banana bread for dessert.

I didn't like cole slaw until I tried it on top of a sandwich or burger. It's really good that way.
I actually saw vegetarian fish sticks the other day. I'll have to try them one of these days.
Yesterday for lunch I had a tossed salad with Red French dressing and all the fixins'.
For dinner I had Fettuccine Alfredo with a bunch of stuff like spinach, cauliflower, cannellini beans, mushrooms, carrots, peas, onions
I made beef stew yesterday for dinner. Large chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, and peas, with a large dollop of red wine. It was good, but I really wanted cole slaw with it! Thanks guys! 
Tonight for NYE is our Big Sandwich, chilled shrimp, some chips and I'm making onion dip (Ina's recipe is the best). We still have some chocolate covered pretzels from Christmas to munch on. And some cheese and bologna. There's some Smirnoff Ice chilling in the fridge. Nothing exotic, but it's our dinner. We won't eat supper per se, because we'll munch later on while watching movies.
Our cole slaw usually has chunks of broccoli and cauliflower. And the dressing is made with brown sugar and a hit of Worcestershire. Yum

Where did you see the vegetarian fish sticks? Fish sticks were my favorite food when I was a kid and I would love to try the vegetarian ones.

Tonight I am having Amy's Burrito made with organic black beans, rice and tomatoes. It is very good.
LOL, Tontino's Pizza Rolls. Didn't take anything out to thaw. Don't feel like dealing with anything else.
