Last night we had leftover chicken/rice casserole and sliced tomatoes.Today we got a late start, got some grocery shopping done.By the time we got home,we had a late lunch(love that sun-dried tomato turkey at WalMart) with some smashed potato salad,so.....I guess that was dinner.

LTS3 LTS3 I think you are concerned about cooking times and identity of what you are eating. Understandable, as fiddleheads are something new to you. I like to cook fiddleheads like asparagus - slightly under-cooked, not soggy soft. Eating them raw is not a good idea. Store bought are safe but you need to know what you are foraging in the wild as bracken ferns are not good to eat.

Ask if you are still concerned, have other questions.

Yesterday was half a can of chili with sharp cheddar, chopped sweet onions and homemade tortilla chips.

I made my weekly bread dough yesterday. This evening I'll make a BBQ chicken pizza and have fresh tomatoes with Italian dressing on the side.

If I get motivated, I may bake another batch of chewy chocolate meringue cookies.
