kittyluv387 kittyluv387 Ha! I wish! It’s just little ole me here. I just made supper for the troops! Whew!
Sadly, the fellow I was married to has passed. He did love animals though. He was a nature lover too. I always thought his Blonde hair and short reddish blonde beard made him look like a cuddly lion. :)
I should put up a sign.....Cat lovers and chef volunteers needed! I wouldn’t mind having someone cook for me once in a while too! I’d eat what the cats are eating tonight. Hopefully we’ll be back on some pre prepared food soon. Then the kitties can have it all to themselves! :barfgreen:

Mamanyt1953 Mamanyt1953 Official without having to work through a complicated system of relying on the availability of others certainly would be better for me and the kitties. I’d like to be able to help more cats but I’m at my limit right now. Without more help or a few more adoptions, I can’t take any more in. If the new kitty is living here and tame, I’ll attempt to find the previous owner. If that fails, he/she will have to go through the system. I think I can get the kitty into a safe place but I may have to work out fostering for a bit. It’s frustrating because I have enough land and the desire to do that but to get everything in line for grants I would need help. :frustrated:I can dream though! ;)

rubysmama rubysmama They certainly are my babies. Every single one I ever hold close. I can’t stop loving them even after they leave. I know you and Ruby understand. :redheartpump:
I think we could start a soap opera right here but I don’t think the kitties would put up with being cancelled. :angrycat:It might be a furrightful event!

kittyluv387 kittyluv387 Awwww! Thank you! Just knowing you are there for supportive posts is great! I guess every country has some good and not so good areas. I just happen to be in one that has less economic power and less resources. Some states have a lot to offer! I’ve connected with people from all over and the laws, rules and resources are never the same in any two places. Fortunately, there are good people to be found everywhere. Thank you for your kind thoughts! You’re one of the good ones!:)
Maybe the kitties can return the love in my update tonight!

What happens if you try to take a nap in a house full of mischievous kitties?

First you have a Whistle in your ear!

Then a Banjo starts to play in the background. ( The look on her little black and white face should have tipped me off)

Banjo stole my camera again to take pictures of her friends!!

The first thing Banjo did was to tell Whistle to be verrrrry quiet.

Whistle only agreed after Banjo promised him part of her chicken tonight. Typical brother sister deal!

Banjo got a picture of Bonjure asleep with Purry. It’s hard to tell where one black kitty starts and the other ends!
B74AB94F-9FB5-42CA-B1BA-B3A163119817.jpeg

Then she got a pretty good photo of what a cat fur blanket looks like.

But my favorite is the picture she took of BJ. BJ took his first turn on the cat tree and I don’t think he quite understands that he’s supposed to put his back half up there too!

I can tell you it’s very hard to nap when you think you hear a Banjo laughing. :flail:The laughter is contagious! If laughter is “the best medicine”, I hope everyone gets a good dose of it here!

I’m going to post early because this is going to be a very active week here and I’m going to ask the kitties if I can go to bed early tonight.;) I’m not sure that will work out but we can only try.:p

Today was mop day again and, as always, the cats were displeased. :angrycat:

They all assumed their positions for the duration.

BJ still doesn’t understand about mop day.

Banjo and Bonjie understand but just don’t approve.

Smokey is older and wiser.

She shut herself inside one of the cages!
Smart girl!

Thrasher went high. She got on top of the cage where Smokey took refuge.

Dolly stayed ready to soak up the water this time. He sat beside a box of cat litter! He’s the oldest and most helpful when it comes to doing chores. Luckily for me, he didn’t pour the litter out. ( this time)

For anyone who does not know the story of the bottle of soap and the cat litter.....
You can look back at post number 1344 which is on November 13th, page 68!
I’m sorry my phone won’t allow me to copy and paste it here but it was a very eventful night and the cats have not forgotten it.:flail: Just the sight of the mop bucket makes them all scatter now.
:runningcat::climbcat:
Have a great night/ morning everyone! :heartshape:

rubysmama rubysmama I hope the bedtime story left you with sweet kitty dreams! :)

I’m back to a night owl post! It seems the kitties always get ready for bed before I do! (Unless it’s mop day)

No pictures please! Mitsy is sleepy!

Bonjure never even knew I was there. He fell asleep by his food dish. A full tummy has a way of doing that.

Flowers did get up from her bed for some private time with Mom but she has the half asleep look!

Banjo had retired to her house.

BJ was trying to join Dolly, Thrasher and Lady on the couch but......

He wasn’t warmly accepted on a full sofa so when he saw me head for the other sofa...

I’ll just get between the pillows......

And give you head butts to put you to sleep. It was as I sat down I heard a small squeak..........

Hey Mom! Don’t sit on the Whistle!

It’s okay Whistle. I can snuggle a kitty on each side!

No kitties were squished during the filming of this post. ;)

Obviously, the kitties are in charge!:kitty:
I think I’ll go see if the bed is vacant!

:catlove: Good night/ morning everyone!

There is new knees here. It good/bad depending on how it turns out. We have company.

This is the same cat I spotted sometime ago. I’ve seen her a few times now so I’m not sure if she is visiting or lives her under the old trailer. Time will tell. Everyone PLEASE, keep your cats home and hope that I find her owners and they are desperately looking for her! Also that she got out accidentally!

I’ve made sure she has food and a place to get out of the rain. I kept her company until dark.
:frustrated::silver::silver::silver::silver::silver::silver::silver::silver::silver::silver:

I know that if you feed them, they will come, but I’m not!

I saw another cat yesterday! I don’t know why they come here. There is no food out and they aren’t coming to the side of the property where there are other cats inside. 2acres away!
It’s that footprint in the concrete! It must glow at night or something like a neon sign! :greenpaw::biggrin::doh: All cats this way. v

Cat's have that sixth sense. They can sense the humans who can't resist their charms. Can you tell if the kitty with the blue collar is fixed?
I can’t tell but I suspect not. She is very nervous and I saw what I think is a large Tomcat high tail it when I went out yesterday. I’m going to try and prevent any kittens if possible. A lot depends on if I can find her owners. If I do and they release her back out........:doh:I’ll be calling the county to confirm as well as local vets and rescues. I’ll also be posting signs up everywhere. If I have to, I’ll offer to help them get her fixed. I think the county has a program going right now that I might be able to get them in on. Around here a lot of people don’t Spay or neuter their pets! I need a sign here that points them in the direction of the clinic! Getting it done through the vet can be several hundred dollars depending on which vet you use. 300 each is about what I had to pay for most of mine. Some were more.:dizzy:

I’m still eating peanut butter to make up for that! :flail:Hey! Maybe that’s what is bringing the cats! They like the scent of peanut butter! Maybe I need to switch that up!?!?!
