rubysmama It was funny how barking worked. Later in the night it did start again so I called out Frauline! The name of my new invisible, but barking, dog. Lol I guess my bark is better than my bite!

This photo is one of my all time favorites! Total relaxation and trust.

Oh yes! Seeing Gypsy totally trusting us to keep her safe and being so relaxed as she never could have been as a former stray makes us feel so proud and so loved.

CL56 Me too (dang is it!) but we’ll remain hopeful. There is always hope. If the worms die and break into small enough pieces that nothing is blocked, it’s just possible that he could get through this. I will be giving our boy all the love I can pour into him. It seems he has won the hearts of a great many here so maybe all our hopes for him will make a difference. If love can do it, it will happen.

We are devastated to hear that our beloved BJ tested positive. Prayers and well wishes from us and all his fans.

dustydiamond1 Beautiful, sweet Gypsy! There’s nothing better than knowing our babies are content. I love it when they curl up with a paw under the face! It’s just so cute! The tummy up photos show complete security. I’m so glad she is safe and happy. It certainly makes me feel good.

I watched a funny story unfold tonight on the feral front. Now that BJ is getting more lap time, he is getting more attention from his old friends.

Hey! Mr. BJ! Remember me?

Hey! Listen when a lady is talking to you!

Whoa! What did I do?

It’s me, Mitsy! Don’t you remember me BJ?

Oh Mitsy! I’ve missed you! I thought you and the babies were lost!

Mom! You took care of Mitsy and the babies?

Oh.....Thank goodness Mom! Thank you.

Mitsy..I missed you. I love you Mitsy!

I still love you too BJ!

Head butt Kitty kisses! Awwwww. They still remember and love each other.
This was so sweet to watch. I wasn’t quite sure what would happen when Mitsy jumped up with us. She is a bit of a loner except with me. Seeing her greet BJ and then demand his attention really was a shocker since all the other cats tend to be more dominant towards her. Then to see her wait for his recognition made it clear that she, not only remembers him, but still loves him. (He was the father to the Cloud babies) They have been apart quite awhile but it seems they do not forget. I hope BJ will be a comfort to Mitsy again now. My shy girl still needs her protector.
A sweet reunion for two very sweet kitties.
I hope this made everyone smile the way I did.

We’re back to pillow domination here again! Bj discovered that having your own man/cat cave can be nice so he vacated the pillow for a bit.

It only took a minute for someone else to move in to the pillow spot. I must say, she has awaited her turn patiently.

She has her eyes on the prize! Lol

Can Thrasher sneak quickly into the pillow spot?

We start by making our way through the lap.

We give Mom our sweetest expression.....(I had to leave that notebook in the photo, it’s contains the medical records on the cats! Just a few!)

From the lap position you just wiggle over a bit so Mom doesn’t notice you’re headed for the pillow.

Ahhhhh! I made it! It feels so good!

Oh boy! There’s a heating pad here too!

I’m making a bee line for this every night! I now claim this as the Thrasher spot! Move over Mom!

Well, I may have lost my place in this house. I always knew it would happen one day! The look on Thrasher’s face once she realized the heating pad was on is worth losing my spot! That is one content kitty! Hmmmm. A life with ferals is really sweet!

I did start out doing everything alone. However, I guess I should finally admit the truth....it may seem that I am a night owl and up late writing these posts, but if I’m totally honest....... well....... for those of you who have followed all the stories, you deserve to know the following. This is what happened.

It al began innocently enough.

Banjo appeared to be watching me a lot.

She was always interested in what I was doing on thecatsite.

But then again, she did seem to want to sit on the heating pad. As I look at this now though..... I notice she doesn’t really have more than a couple of paws on it and her focus isn’t on me.

I started to find a few photos on my phone that I didn’t remember taking. A bit fuzzy so obviously I needed practice.

Then another photo appeared....

And another...

Banjo just laughed when I mentioned the mystery photos to her. Silly old Mom!

Slowly, the mystery photos began to improve.
It was almost as though someone was working to figure out how to use my phone!

Practicing possibly?

Honing their skills?

I caught Banjo playing with my phone and it wasn’t where I had left it!?!?!

Then I caught her whispering something to her brother, Whistle. Hmmm.

When I asked if something was wrong, Whistle played possum and Banjo looked very worried.

Since Banjo was obviously tired, I let it go.

Then there was the day I had left the phone in my car.

Banjo didn’t know about my surveillance cameras. The next day I noticed she had moved my keys.

I caught her sharing secrets again that morning at breakfast. What was going on?

Then I found photos of some of the other kitties smiling for the camera. They looked posed to me.

Somebody appears to be looking at the keyboard.

I know I didn’t take this!

Or this!

Banjo, who is coming in and using my phone?!?!?

Ha, ha. Mom, nobody is using your phone. How would they ever get in?

Then I found the following photo and ...when I saw my latest post on here, I finally realized, someone had used my phone to post photos of the other cats on the site under my ID.

The accompanying information was correct. I started going back through this thread and found that someone has been posting about many of the cats here! That was quite a shock but the posts are pretty well typed. There are some boo boos but they are blamed on my poor vision in the text. After that someone has posted something almost every night after I have gone to bed.

Since they are writing far better than I do, well, I just hated to let the cat out of the bag.
So, now you know the facts, I finally caught the author and the real night owl in the act! It’s Banjo.

She admitted it with a very guilty grin!

I hope no one spilled their morning coffee when they read the punch line to this fable.
Our silly, epic cat tail was written with the help of Banjo and all the other talented kitties to thank everyone who follows their stories. I hope we had you curious as a cat for a minute. We all hope you smiled. Thank you for sticking with us through all our kitty adventures.

By the way, Banjo really did take the selfies. She always did love playing with my phone.
