My Feral And Rescued Cats

Banjo's really good at the electronic stuff. Ruby just manages to press random keys on the computer keyboard. Usually it's harmless. One time, though, she managed to turn the screen sideways! It was tons of fun trying to read the screen while I tried to search how to fix it.

rubysmama Banjo actually surprise me with a few of those selfies. I don’t know hoe she, not only got the camera on, but got it into selfies mode and took the pictures! It took quite a few bottom pushes to do that. Hilarious kitty.

I've lately become convinced that most of the towns and streets in Wales were named by a cat with unlimited access to a keyboard. Although they were named centuries ago, some of them, we must not forget a cat's time travelling abilities!

Hi Gizmoandsooz ! I’m glad you think he is a cutie. I am also glad you suggest fixing! Always great to suggest. All my kitties are spayed or neutered and chipped as I get them fixed. It’s a necessary thing to prevent breeding, not to mention the males spraying. There will be more about the kitties later. Welcome to The atsite. It’s very nice to meet you.

Hello everyone!
I’m still working on my phone but I didn’t want to miss visiting and sharing the cat day. Lol
Today Bonjure went for his check up. He’s so big he takes up the whole carrier! Of course, part of that is Fluff.
Bonjure is really only about 14 pounds.( carrying him felt more like 20)

He checked out as very healthy! Yay! He got his immunizations up dated and I take another kitty next week.

Bonnie was a big hit today and the vet took pictures of him to post on their website. I took a few myself. He was nervous at first but purred for everyone before we left.


I don’t care if you give me treats! No thermometer!

Okay..... all is forgiven! Pet me a little more to the right!

Now that we’re home, I’ll remind you of your promise to snuggle if I was a good kitty. I WAS a good kitty.

I guess he’s a little jumpy about the tail tonight. Poor little kitty. He did great today though and now he’s sleeping in my arms. I suppose he’ll get the pillow when he decides to let me out from under him!

surya My vet gives Profender but there are other dewormers that you can get at pet supply stores.

kittyluv387 His fur is super silky. He’s all fluff! Lol He has huge paws and a lot of junk in his trunk. I’ve never had a kitty before that was bottom heavy.
I love the little fella too! He’s such a baby! He loves to hug.

Today has been a day of administering cat medicine. Yep! Flea and parasite protection day! I hope everyone else is doing it too! I try to do all the kitties within a couple of days of each other but it doesn’t always go as planned. Lol Even though I use the topical stuff, they all hate it. It’s just a little bit of stinky stuff behind the neck but.... I guess it’s really stinky to them. If one cat has it on , the others avoid them! I must admit, it doesn’t smell great to me either.

I would love to post photos of the day but..... they are all hiding. Mom is after us!

No worries BJ. You had yours after the vet visit. Just because everyone else is hiding, it doesn’t mean you have to as well.

It was a very long day!

I think we’ll all sleep well tonight. The pursuit of a few will continue tomorrow. The kitties are really good at this! Well, some of them.

Today was a feral kind of day! We’re having some discussions here over the choice of cat foods. Feral or otherwise, kitties make up their own minds over what to eat so today I cooked for kitties.
I suppose fresh food is much tastier to us all. I just hope they don’t make me cook three square meals a day! Two a day is my limit for kitties!

I saw the stranger kitty again today. This time it was hungry so, of course, I fed it. It still has a flea collar so I am trying to figure out if it was abandoned, lost or just visiting. It was very nervous again. It seems more so than the last time I saw it. This time I could not pet it but it did let me keep it company while it ate. I am worried about it and I fear it may be living on my property. I’ll keep watching.

Something was going on with BJ tonight.

Mom left the camera out.

Banjo just pushes the camera to take a selfie....I can do that !

Hmmmmm. For some strange reason, I found BJ hiding under a pillow tonight! I wonder what spooked him? ( as if I didn’t know)!

When I got him to come out he just wanted Mom to hold him. He seemed a bit jumpy. I wonder what happened?!?!?!

Next time I leave the camera out for the cats to use, maybe I better cut the sound off! BJ may be used to the click of the camera but he’s not used to the phone ringing just when he reaches out to touch it! Poor BJ!

Hopefully he won’t dream about ringing phones and neither will anyone else!

And yes, there used to be a soap opera called "All My Children", but it got cancelled several years ago.
