surya I hope that someone will take in those sweeties. The silver baby has been waiting ...... every time I see him my heart throbs! The Ginger is beautiful. These guys would make such a great Valentine for someone and for the kitties. Is anyone reading this who can save my heart and theirs? They just need a good person and little love! They need a safe neighborhood! I would take them if I had a single spot open up. That is the only thing preventing me from taking them. If you are familiar with the story of the rescued cats here then you also know that I must be very serious to consider this. Surely someone out there has a little more space than I do.

I haven't thought of Jim Croce in decades, but I loved that song. Google tells me it was released after his death. I never knew that. Pre-internet news was hard to come by, so of course I knew he'd died, but that was about it. Here's the video:

I haven't seen the last kitty at my dumpster colony for a week. She has disappeared and shown back up again before. Hopefully she is still around. But tonight when I was leaving food for her, I spotted a grey tiger striped kitten. It's probably going to turn out to be too old to tame easily. But I'll try to catch it and find out.

I went back out and got it. Looks older than 2 months. Any guess on the age? It feels pretty heavy, I think it's gonna be too old to get a foster.

surya Nooo! I think that little face still looks kittenish and will get a foster. Adorable kitten! I’ll give you a comparison shot. Prime was four months according to the vet when I took her in. She was a little light weight but much older looking than this kitty. I think two months to twelve weeks is probably about right for the kitten you caught. Some are built leaner and some stockier. I can look up the weight on Prime if it helps you any. Just tell the foster your pretty sure it’s two months!

I spent most of this day helping a friend. I’ll say more about that later but for now I’ll be teaching the kitties to share our home for a little while. This will be a challenge.

My kitties were not the center of my world for a few hours and they are giving me the cold shoulder. Hmmmm. Why am I not surprised? I don’t think I need to narrate the photos much!

You don’t need to understand cat speak to understand that Banjo is not going to give me her pretty side tonight!! I think this expresses what all the cats were telling me tonight! Banjo!

My little camera thief still steals my heart too. As mad as she was, I had to smile. The last photo really made me laugh because she held her foot up like that for a couple of minutes. No pretty poses tonight. Every cat in my house is spoiled. (But still so cute!) I just hope they are polite to our company! I think once they understand , they will turn their attention to my friend. Even if they just agree to tolerate Mom sharing her time with someone else. Fortunately it’s just temporary. The kitties still got fed, watered and clean boxes. The only thing different was how much play time and petting went on. This is a great example of how our kitties pay attention to what is going on around them! They notice every change. At least I know the kitties want my love!

Thanks Jcatbird, the kitten is scared, but not shaking and it does not growl or hiss at me. I have been talking to it in the cage and it sits there quietly and looks at me.

rubysmama I have seen the thread but just been running lately. Lol I can’t post but love listening. I did post in the photo stink eye contest. I love that thread. I always makes me laugh. Muffin really did not want a photo then.
