Praying for your father, Jcatbird

My son just returned to work this week after having covid.
My daughter had been living in a developing country when all of this hit. She recently got repatriated back, bringing an adorable kitten she took in just six weeks before. A friend found her on the streets. She’s a cuddlebug but is skittish. I’ve only met her through FaceTime.

I edited out the photo since I didn’t ask permission and my daughter is very private.

I am very glad you had a double face plant! Lol That made me laugh. In times of trouble, we all need a bit of laughter. The kitties help to keep the smiles active. The typos are just a bonus. My paws just have trouble with keyboards.

So many prayers and kindnesses here. This is a wonderful place to be. My heart is lifted and when I can tell my Dad that so many here responded, he will also be lifted up. He asked for prayers and he has gotten them. Thank you so much everyone! I cannot express it to the depths that I feel it but the comfort is huge. I would hope to offer it back to all here. The photos that tabbytom posted and our own Wanda Heart demonstrate what I wish for all.

I was thrown for a loop in the last while. Too many things happening all at once. Life comes at you hard and fast at times. I will drop a quick line, if this happens again. I really did miss everyone.

Glad to hear that everything is stable with your dad and stepmom at this time (no news is good news). I have been . I am hanging in there. I put up a thread about checking in on elderly people during lockdowns. I keep hearing troubling stories. Some one posted about how isolated and stressed they feel and how their sister in CA is in lock down and can't get any charity to deliver food. Anyway, if anyone wants to offer advice to this lady (she also has a cat with a behavior issue) here is her thread. Thank you. OLD CAT KEEPS BITING ME!
