So, I guess practice makes Purrfect? That’s good to know! If I get back to being on a computer, I’ll just keep practicing. LolJcatbird - I go between pretty easily at this point.

I totally believe it and here's the proofA friend tells me that they think Banjo bought my mug online.
Good on you! It's the results that count, and you got results. At least the puppy is safe and dry, so you did your part.I had an exciting day yesterday. I was able to help rescue not a cat, but a little Pomeranian puppy. He came barking at the door for help. He was soaking wet out in the cold & rain. Family members said- "He's not our problem, there's nothing we can do." I waited a few hours to see if his owners came looking for him, but he started playing in the road & cars were slamming on their breaks. So I called him back to me & went online to our town website to try to find some help. I found the number for a dog warden and he came & got him just before dark. I'm so glad I listened to my instincts/heart & helped the little guy get somewhere warm & dry.
Godspeed little fellow. I did the best I could with what I have. Wish I could have done more.
I hadn't realized the mug was that old, but thinking about it more, that makes sense that it was probably an '80's gift.rubysmama rubysmama The mug would be before 1990 I guess. Kliban did lots of cute cat cartoons. I remember one of that cat flying and wearing a red cape and another of a smiling cat wearing red tennis shoes. One of my favorites was a cat at the top of a Christmas tree. The treetop was bent over with the weight of a big kitty! The book “Cat” started a trend of cat books and of cats being popular with the public. A very good thing! I did post on the Question of the Day.
My grandma had a Pomeranian when I was a kid, so that's how I knew what kind of dog he was. He was a little cutie, I'm glad I went against my family and helped him. We have to look after God's creatures and do what we can.We had a Pomeranian when I was young and he was a gentle sweet doggie. I know it’s hard to go against general opinions but following your heart meant you kept him from harm.
When Maggie first came here, she snapped a real mouse in half and dropped it on my shoe! That's how much of a little devil she is. She would stand on a mouse and snap it in two! Horrifying.Thrasher greeted me with a mouse. That she placed on my slipper.
Now I feel like I absolutely must get a pair of cat socks. Banjo sure is a good sales model. She showed me her model cattitude expression
Hmmm...Demi & Maggie never buy me anything. Maybe Banjo can teach them?I feel very honored that she spent some of her hard earned cash on me for a gift!
Oh that is a really good one! Very appropriate! Imagine that I posted the same laughing emoji here! LololololSmokey and the Banjo??
