Thank you! I am here. I have had a Mallory-Weiss tear that gave me that coffee effect you found on google so that was a concern this time. I guess I picked something up when I was out with that car breakdown or kitty shopping. Someone sharing for the holiday! I was more worried about being around the flu in the waiting room for five hours. I am coughing and was given a pill. Never heard of it before though so unless the coughing gets worse, I let the doc know, I prefer to use natural remedies if possible. They were okay with that. Banjo thinks I just have a hairball. She offered me my bedroom slipper. I guess I know now who puts hairball in my slippers!

I’m supposed to get lots of bed rest right now. I’m kind of tired so it’s easier to do that than it would normally be for me. Lol I was resting some today and found something that made me laugh and I thought it seemed a lot like Chez Catbird on a lesser scale. I think everyone can relate. My version first. LoL!

Our cats mess with up while we sleep!

They help to prepare food and get on the counters

They mess around in the bathroom and enjoy
turning on the water or destroying toilet paper.

They love technology but only if it belongs to them.

Mopping the floor has nothing to do with messy kitties. They are totally innocent.

Once in a great while they might attempt to share our food but...... they lick other things
first!

They are great at helping with changing the bed or straightening the covers.

They love sharing the sofa, climbing on our back and taking our seat! Lol

The might even shut us in a room somewhere if we won’t let them in!

No, it doesn’t make me uncomfortable to watch that....

I would never do any of those things!

Yes, it looks as if you might joing those of us in the nosepin-wearing community very soon! I must say, your piercer is a lot cuter than mine! Enjoy your holidays thoroughly, with good food, warm comfort, and of course, lots and lots of SNORGLES! Though we do not have holidays now, The Three are going to enjoy a new tub of catnip, some silvervine, and a package of catnip AND silvervine all through the year to come!

Did you know that vanilla comes from an orchid? The seed pod of the Vanilla planifolia vine is the one we use as flavoring. The little black specks in Breyers vanilla Ice cream is actually orchid seeds. The Flowers only last a day so they must be pollinated in the morning in order to produce the vanilla bean. I prefer using real vanilla over manufactured perfumes

Making it NOT "plain vanilla," but one of the most exotic spices on earth! I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they've figured out how to cultivate it at a lower height by now, though.

What an excellent idea, Mamanyt1953 about the cruelty-free thread! *And you can feel free to invite all cat lovers to move out here to CATifornia, where we say what we mean and mean what we say about caring for the innocent, blameless and unconditionally loyal and loving beings! Although the statute has loopholes, it's at least a start, after having asked, harangued and voted for this for more years than I'll confess to. I once worked for a cruelty-free home business, before it was even much of a "thing", and I am so proud of my State!

tarasgirl06 Holidays are very different here now. I spend them trying to make the day good for others and the kitties. That makes me happy. We make our holiday. I have special food for all the kitties and also got catnip and some other little treats. It’s about the Snorgles! I’ll be going outside to enjoy the sky too. Simple but very pleasant. I could see loving being in California. As another who began trying to help the helpless early on, I would love to be surrounded by like minded people. There is the flip side though. Maybe you could bring everyone here to influence the people around me now! We need more here!

I have considered wearing that cat Halloween mask to bed to preserve my nose. I wonder what the kitties would think?

Yes, indeed, Jcatbird and rubysmama and TCS!
My family and I only had this as a secular holiday and we would have a nice dinner and gift exchanges. I miss all of that so much, and so I do similarly to you, Jcatbird. My roomies don't have it as a holiday either, so we're just doing our usual things. I'm cleaning the house as usual on Wednesday. There is still a fair amount of special food around, which we are all enjoying.
I had the same thought about that hamster -- maybe (s)he can meow and/or purr?!
Wishing everyone a wonderful winter season, however you celebrate, or don't. And praying for a loving permanent home for every cat and kitten, all over the world, because they SO deserve it.

Looks like BJ is the magical holiday rein-cat! and enjoying the role 100%! Although Bonjure makes a very distinguished participant as well...!
I opened our package of catnip/silvervine and distributed some in various places around the house. So I'm not sure who, if anyone, has imbibed, but I'm hoping everyone gets a snootful! And though we don't have holidays now, I always look forward to the "after" sales, and have chosen two "presents" from the Lil BUB store -- a 2020 commemorative calendar and a pretty mint "BEST JOB BUB" T-shirt. With this order will be two sticker paks gratis. I'm wearing my BUB sweater now, which is the warmest, softest and BEST sweater I have and reminds me of the magic that will always be Lil BUB.
