tarasgirl06 The kitties had fun with everything here. I was surprised that Bonjure and Banjo allowed the head gear but maybe they’ve been watching BJ. I thought the colors of the reindeer antlers looked pretty with Bonnie’s fur. BJ definitely wore the hat better. It stil strikes me funny that he likes things on his head.
You mentioned Lyle crocodile. Is that supposed to be the same as the one from the children’s books?
A Bub sweater? I love a snuggly sweater. I bet the commemorative calendar has great pictures. Elvis! Kicking is fun! Lol I always love it when the kitties are having enough fun to start kicking. That’s true kitty excitement!

It would take time for me to readjust. I did manage but it took some time. Everything has changed since I last used a computer.

We had company today but after they left we continued playing with the new toys. I took the talking hamster to visit the girls.Callie doesn’t care for rodents. Lol She got on the bed for a paw washing.

Everyone should have a talking cat! Lol This toy has the kitties intrigued! Bilingual! Anything that keeps the kitties this interested is a good toy. It’s been a hit with everyone so far. I’ll be trying it with the others too. Goldie and Blue may not be as trusting if it. We’ll see! The Bengal boys may try to eat it.

I shed more than my cats. It's the opposite for me, I worry that the cats will swallow MY hair.

Same here. I prefer my desktop. My brother got me an ipad, but I haven't even turned it on yet. I should figure out how to take pictures, but I'm more of a word person than photos.

Oh, you totally need to use your ipad. Taking pictures is addictive, once you get into the habit, and ipads take great pics.

As much as I like my desktop for typing on forums like TCS, I'm considering buying an ipad or tablet that I can use when I'm curled up on the sofa with Ruby on my lap.

rubysmama love the mug. I agree! Catnap! Lol It funny how we get used to doing things a certain way. Having the phone available to post anywhere is convenient. Just little! Lol Having an instant way to take photos is nice too.

M maggiedemi I think if you ever started taking pictures, you’d never stop. They say “ One picture is worth a thousand words” lol I don’t know if it will feel that way to you but it is a way of expressing things if you don’t have time or feel like talking. Besides, we’d like pictures of Maggie and Demi!

We're all best on the devices that are our favorites, I think, Jcatbird and M maggiedemi and rubysmama and all! I'm a confirmed desktop person, and I use my iPhone for texting, talking and picture-talking, but never for surfing or posting. I don't like laptops and I've never had a tablet -- don't need one. I even have a digital camera and a 35mm camera! but the iPhone takes really good pix and there are all the effects one can play around with, so I'm pretty much devoted to it.
I'm not familiar with Lyle Crocodile in children's books. This one is a fillable cat toy with a velcro closing:

He was one of angel Rani's favorite toys.

rubysmama The last one you posted is by one of my favorite cat artists. I always smiled at those cats.

Lari I had gone from desktop to lap top. After the back injury the laptop made it easier to be on the computer for a long time. I could get comfortable. Lol The computer I used the other day was a lap top but it would take some getting used to it again. I never thought I would get used to typing in my palm but..... after a few years of nothing but this, it seems awkward to do anything else. I certainly did enjoy the view on the larger screen though! Wow! I’d have to learn how to type with both hands again! Do you find yourself looking for things on the different keyboards or do you adjust immediately?

I decided to switch up toys tonight. I’m letting the hamster take a break. A friend had sent the kitties a bag of toys and they have been clawing at the closet where I had them stashed away. I figured they must be really good stuff! It turns out that they are! The bag held enough toys so that every cat got at least one and there were spares per room. The label said it held 24 but there were more than that! Yay! Catnip for all! Before I even had the bag opened, the cats surrounded me. I was half expecting someone to climb my leg so I started the distribution very quickly. There were little mice, balls, stars, square pouches and an array of other shapes. This is the best cat toy bag ever! Our smiles tonight come from the kindness of a friend. The chowder thanks you! I hope you laugh as I did. Surprise ending.

Of course Banjo grabbed the first toy.

tabbytom I just had to share this with you. It made me laugh.

Everyone who has followed the stories of Banjo knows that she is always stealing my phone and going online. In fact, when my friend was here with their computer, she managed to go online with it as well. Tech cat!
A friend tells me that they think Banjo bought my mug online. How would a cat make a purchase? The friend suggested that the following looks suspiciously like Banjo if you go to the photo of Daisy Rainbow Cat Cave. If she saw the review of these on TCS , perhaps Banjo did a bit of moonlight modeling to earn the capitol. I never doubt the abilities of a cat!
