She has dashed out one room and run into Calley,Alley, Liberty and Tortie. Calley sniffed her and was pretty calm. Alley hissed, Liberty ran and Tortie just wanted me to pet her and ignore Wanda Heart.

So interesting how all 4 cats had different reactions.

It’s more a matter now of keeping her ell and not exposing her to water dishes, litter boxes, food dishes etc. of BJ. I’m not convinced that is a huge risk but would never take any chances. I can shut him away, mop, remove all dishes and boxes to have her out with me though. She is young so more susceptible to any exposures.

It's sad BJ can't be a surrogate papa to Wanda Heart, but keeping her healthy is the most important thing.

There's a reason for that, you know. It's a bit like dogs sniffing, but with cats, they don't sniff or allow sniffing with just anyone. Bum sniffing allows the sniffer to learn all about the sniffee's health, general state of mind, and mating status. For a CAT to present their butt to you means that they consider you someone with the right to know these things, a friend, or family member. It isn't done with just everyone, like dogs do.

I had no idea that cats wouldn't allow this with just anyone! Curious because Charlie takes liberties with sniffing Finn's backside all the time, and Finn doesn't respond, just keeps walking. This gives me hope that perhaps Finn is willing to accept him and will eventually stop being a thug to him!

@Graceful-Lily You were one of the ones up that night! The first glimpse of Wanda Heart in the dark. A rough night for her and for me. I was very grateful to have company. That’s a great thing about TCS. We are each other’s support system.
She looks so much better now. It seems like just yesterday......

tarasgirl06 I meant to comment on Nikki. Made out of Butterflies! I love that story. An Ebony Siamese makes me think of Purry. Actually Purry Como. Lol Talker is a good name for a kitty with that Siamese blood. No wonder there was talking! I gotta say though, the Sharks reference to the proud tail cracked me up! They do go back and forth trolling with the tail!

There is an update on the romance between Froggie and Banjo! There is definitely something different about that frog. As long as I have lived in this area I have seen tree frogs. I think this area has a very special breed. Perhaps a hybrid?

This picture - those spots!! That tummy! I cannot resist a kitteh belly! Bury my face every time. I just saw a video about how cats don't like kisses - is this true??? I kiss Charlie every time, and now that I think of it, I don't think he likes it - he always protests. But really, it's their fault for being so darn cute. How can we be expected not to kiss that cuteness? Kitty bellies are kryptonite.

Jcatbird Charlie wants to know if Banjo likes boys with hairy chests. He doesn't see what Banjo sees in Jeremiah. I think he's jealous. He asked me to send his pic to Banjo's match .com account with the caption "I'll keep you warmer than any frog ever could"...

Kind of appropriate to find Banjo on the music thread! She’s the one who found, “ Whiskers in the Jug” and posted the song about Jeremiah. I am always learning from the kitties.

Whistle is such a good-looking boy! Of course, both his parents are particular pretty. They're like the Ken and Barbie of the cat world. How did Whistle get to keep his ear tip? I sometimes wish Finn had gotten to keep his, but I wasn't convinced I was going to adopt him when I took him in for TNR. No biggie, but I sure do love the twin peaks of kitty ears!

Oooooh, Charlie likes, Charlie likes! He thinks Banjo has a great personality, too, and her toys look like lots of fun! He's smitten kitten, but he's not tech savvy. He may that young whipper-snapper Finn into teaching him, you never know!
