He's a boy! His name is Joey now.
I'm thinking he is abandoned too, but this is the most friendliest cat.
altho I can't even comprehend dumping any cat, but he is so precious.
I have great hopes that he will teach Walli how to be a house cat. I'm going to get a cheap Kitty cam
and see how they are interacting. I bought the baby gates, will put those up tomorrow.
they have a sliding glass door between them, and I was able to partially open it last night,
didn't hear any problems. I can tell Walli came out and ate her treat ball, so she had to of seen him.
Thanks for listening to my cat tales!

I think he is setup for Felv and FVRCP and another one
they didn't say anything about Rabies or Distemper
but he is getting a package so I will definitely clarify.

Question: I can close the door to Walli's room it is louvered doors
I have Joey closed in our office, Joey doesn't get neutered and shots till April 2nd
Walli stay's in her room during the day and was wondering if it would be a bad
thing to close off Walli's room during the day and let Joey roam around a bit
either that or I can take Joey to my Dad's during the day.
He is 6 months old and very active, I hate to close him in like that, but I will if
that is what I should do. I think my guilt is getting the better of me.
my point is I want to do what's best for Walli right now, not Joey!

FVRCP is the Distemper vaccine. The P in it stands for Panleukopenia which is Distemper.

Coworker just told me there is a kitten outside our work.
I work in an industrial area, I can't do anymore, I will have to take it to a rescue
if he finds it. I can't believe this.

I know, I am already overwhelmed.
I wish he wouldn't have told me, It ran away from him, maybe it was a Feral.
I will not go looking for it. This sure is a big problem, I had no idea.

Does anyone know how long you have to wait after vaccinations before you can socialize cats?

It does, I will ask the vet, I am so inpatient, It's pretty hard having 2 cats separated
hats off to all of you who have done this. Joey is starting to get cabin fever.
I have been letting him in my room which is connected to his for a short time everyday.

I know your plate is full but are there any rescue groups in your area you could contact to for them to come and trap and rescue the poor kitty at your work?
