I did not see the kitty when I went out with my coworker, believe me I don't think I could of done nothing.
It ran away when he tried to approach it.
I have not seen it, I recently have info of a rescue group, a vet tech told me they would take Joey because he is friendly.
But it looks like were keeping him.
If the kitty isn't a Feral and I can get it I will take it there.
thanks for caring, I didn't make myself clear.
I looked again this morning even tho I told myself to not look. [sigh]

Joey got his shots today, vet said 5-7 days for the vaccine to take effect, I told them about Walli
so I have the go ahead to let them have contact next week.
Joey gets neutered and blood tests etc.. on Monday.
Praying that Joey don't have any diseases!
Vet said he was pretty healthy.

Off topic but does anyone know what a clue looks like for the win a t-shirt contest?

Thank you! Joey is such a well behaved Kitty.
He meowed on the way, but he is so friendly to everyone, even the vet!!
Don't think he knew to be scared. Hope he is ok monday when they leave him in a cage for a bit.

He is a bit frisky, prolly cuz of his age
He does the soft paw thing, but he can be a little bitey, doesn't hurt but makes me itch.
He seems to listen when you tell him no.

Guess what Cat Friends?
Walli played with me a little! I bought Cat Dancers for the kitty's and tried it with Walli thinking she
wouldn't play and she couldn't help herself she swiped at it for a few times and gnawed on it a little
I didn't want to push it so I only played for a few minutes. I was so ecstatic!!! yippee!

Joey is getting neutered today.
I heard another possible kitten outside this morning.
I walked inside the house, my husband was saying no more.
I did contact a rescue that said they would take friendlies.
My husband is ok with that. I feel really bad walking in the house, I couldn't think at the time.
I'm wondering if it could be Joey's sibling maybe. I'm kicking myself for walking away.
I've been anxietied all morning.

Man, when it rains it pours cats. :eek2: Well if you can't keep this new kitten, maybe you can help him/her find a different home. That's great about Joey getting neutered today. Let us know how it goes.

If I see it I will take it to the Rescue, I have recently found (for friendlies only)
It is difficult to find people to take cats here. the vet tech told me about it for Joey.
It goes against every fiber of my being to walk away, I wish I hadn't.
so anyway I don't even really know if it was a stray, just freaking out is all.
Thanks I just needed to talk to someone :)

So all of this is wearing on Walli a little bit, not too bad.
I read through quite a bit of introducing cats etc..
but I thought I would post my specific situation, Joey will be able to make contact on Thursday, but I'm not sure
if Walli is ready, they see each other through the gate every night.
I know if I let him out to run Free, Joey is going to bolt for Walli's room, He is so spunky.

so the scenario will be Walli will be in her room and he is going to want to jump up where she is.
Do I let it happen or should I put him on a leash, which he will get crazy if I do that and that will cause
Walli to get hissy.

Not sure, walli comes out after we go to bed, I know she plays in front of the gate.
we were considering getting a kitty cam, but we have so much money into this.
not sure yet.

Another thing you could do is put one cat in the carrier and let the other cat in the room. They can play through the bars of the cat carrier, just like a gate.

I think that is a good idea, I'm hoping to find a friend that has one, those large crates are expensive I think.
Walli played with me close to an hour with the cat dancer last night!
I wish I would of had it 2 months ago, I keep making mistakes. I just figured she didn't like to play,
it was the toy I was using, good advise for people having a hard time playing with their cats, It's the toy!!
I was going to introduce them tomorrow, but I think I need to wait, Everything went well with Joey
except a parasite they said would go away on its own, but I asked them for meds as I can't have Walli
having parasites, I will have Walli's poo checked again in a couple weeks even tho they don't share boxes.

What kind of parasite was it? I never heard of worms going away without meds. Did they give Joey a de-wormer? What type of carrier did you use to take Joey to the vet? That's what I meant, just a regular cat carrier. I got mine at Tractor Supply. It's actually a dog carrier. I think it was around $40.
