    Scottish Folds / Straights

Homozygous fold gene isn't lethal, Manx & Munchkin are. Instead of being lethal, it gives the kittens a high risk of developing osteochondrodysplasia.

    What Breed is My Cat?

Yeah, that's a black smoke bicolour.

I am considering getting a Persian or Himalayan Cat. Need advice please.

I wouldn't trust that "they're not smart" thing. Not being hyper active doesn't mean they're not smart, which is often what people seem to think. And Himalayan is just a colourpoint Persian, so hard to imagine that there would be major differences but I'm not an expert. My step-dad had a blue...

    What Breed is My Cat?

Red/brown splotches on her back are telling you her colour is (brown) classic tortie tabby. Domestic Shorthair (unless she's registered pedigree cat, in which case you probably wouldn't be asking).

Can anyone advise these cats' breed?

^I thought only shaded pattern was recognized in Burmillas? But then again I'm located in the "rest of the world" and not USA, and our main registry may have different colours. I've only seen shaded Burmillas in shows, never any other patterns.

    Fake purebred kittens

I have a sign on my door which says "The more I meet people, the more I like my cat". And to OP's question, yes that is ripping people off. Then again the people buying the kittens haven't done their research and seem to be stupid if they think they can get purebred un-neutered kittens for that...

Can anyone advise these cats' breed?

Can't think of a breed they'd resemble, but their colour is black smoke.

    What breed is my cat?

Pretty sure she's in US, no one else uses the term calico.

    What breed is my cat?

She's a tortie tabby with white. Can't see the exact tabby pattern 'cause her tail is blocking the view, but a mackerel if she has stripes, spotted if she has spots and classic if she has big thick swirls on her sides. Without registration & pedigree, she's a domestic longhair. Very pretty.

I have a Beautiful rescue that i would love to identify..

No it's not, lynx point is a pattern which is recognized in several breeds, like Siamese. Tabby is also just a pattern, not a breed.

    Spooky

What do you mean torties don't have white in them? They can and often do.  A brown tabby that looks "grey" is a brown tabby. No gray in cats. Blue, lilac and silver are also often miscalled 'grey'. Can get confusing without pics. Spooky is indeed a brown (genetically black) tortie tabby with...

    Well, she certainly is brown...

It does look like she could be a cinnamon. But then again I'm used to seeing darker chocolates and am not an expert with choco/cinnamon.
