For years now we have had a pair of bunnies hanging out in our yard. Sometimes they are in the front of the house, sometimes they are in the back of the house. The other day I saw the bunnies in the front and happened to walk by a back window and saw them in the back. We have a pair of front yard bunnies and a pair of back yard bunnies! The front yard ones let you get within a few feet of them. :bunnydance:

I have bunnies like that in my yard too. One of them was in the back sitting under the fence. Sophie was out back in the screened in porch and they were just chilling together- each on their own side of course.

I guess they think your house is home and it sounds as though the front ones may let you pet them at some point in time!

I still think Sophie is being courted by the bunny!

It's supposed to rain today but we need it. I have 4 cherry tomatoes on the plant!
There are about 5 teeny ones on the Heirloom. I so hope they grow well. I received a nice surprise from my ex-husband in the mail, a check!:cheerleader:

My girls have their birthday on Sunday. I'm not sure when Big Cal was born as she was my neighbor's cat and moved in on her own 6 years ago, but I know she turned 6 probably in April. I like to celebrate them together.:bday:

TURKEY TOTS!!! We saw two moms and turklets on our walk this morning. Bob said he counted 17 babies, but they dashed around so that he couldn’t be sure. (He also said that “turkey tots” sounds like a new menu item at McDonalds.)

It rained yesterday and my tomatoes look so good. The Cherries will be done much sooner than the Heirlooms.

The Vincie girl was mad about the rain but she finally settled for a day of sleeping inside. I was surprised that Big Cal didn't hide when it was thundering so maybe she's getting used to it.

I listened to some CDs and it was relaxing. Bob Seger, The Cars, Green Day.

I was up to my ears in poodles again this morning. Two weeks ago 33 were removed from a hoarding situation, and our shelter got six, four of them pups. It's not one of my favorite breeds, but these guys are seriously cute. Here they are cuddling with a co-worker.

Are you adopting?

I had a wonderful dream last night. I was feeding some strays and got them into my house. That grey and white cat was in the bunch. I hope this means I will be catching her soon but I think someone else is feeding her so she isn't sticking around my place.

Regardless, I am still hopeful and she continues to eat the food I put down for her.

Yesterday was nice, not too hot. The Vincie girl was out from about 5am till 3pm. She wanted back out after she ate and went potty but I said no. She slept till about 5am this morning, getting up several times to drink water, eat, and potty.
Now she and Big Cal are out enjoying the morning.

Supposed to be hot today but the Vincie girl will want to be out so I'll squirt her with tepid water but bring her in for naps. Cal will come in when it gets too warm.

I'm going to make iced tea and mix it with lemonade and graze on fruit, Vermont sharp cheddar, pita chips. Hannah made hot dogs yesterday, boiled them then grilled them in the pan, so I'll just nuke them.

It was my girls' birthdays yesterday!! My Vincie girl was 19 and Big Cal turned 9. They both slept all day. I bought a little cake from Giant Eagle which I dropped and it looked a mess but tasted good. I sang to them this morning and they will share a can of albacore tuna in water, the only kind they will eat.

Hannah, my helper, and her new husband! The wedding was scheduled for the 27th but there was some drama, so they got their marriage licenses on Thursday, and were married on Sunday by Avery's father, who is a minister.
She is so happy!!
