Slightly annoyed that Boone and Gracie only used one out of the 4 litter boxes this week. I normally buy 4 small bags of Fresh Step litter but the store only had 3 so I had to get Tidy Cat (which I don't like). So, guess which one they used??? The Tidy Cat one so the entire bottom is compacted pee because it never gets absorbed. Good thing it will get changed tomorrow.
I guess I should be glad because it looks like I will only have to clean one litter box instead of all 4.

How are you today? Things have been rough for me, too.
Just your luck, silly little stinkers!
Very rough morning feeling scared and alone. Made myself keep moving. Did some meditations and hopefully started a new habit to continue of doing dance workouts. Did two and wiggled my bum and swiveled my body in squiggles. Then took a shower. Now focusing on self care and more self soothing as needed. Feeling more grounded so something must be working. I've got this!
Maybe it will be a hot chocolate day when it is time for breakfast. A nice warm beverage sounds nice.

Well... this is interesting. A bomb threat was called into the PD where I work and we are all sheltering in place. Fun! Fun! Fun!!!

I am fine. Nobody seems worried. They will be sweeping the building with bomb dogs shortly. It's a good thing I switched from Warrants to Property and Evidence though. Here in P&E, we have a bathroom and a fridge full of snacks/food so we are all set. Didn't have either in Warrants.klunick are you ok ?
As long as it's over by 1:30pm when I need to leave and we don't have to evacuate into the cold abyss, all is well.

. When I was in high school we had a period where bomb threats were the thing to do. We'd spend hours sitting on bleachers in the football stadium or on the ground around the marching band field. Once in a light rain. It wasn't just our school though; it was a lot of local ones. Of course they had to take it serious; but man it was annoying. One day we had 3 fire alarms pulled in a row. We'd almost get back to class and someone would pull another. Stuff like that just proves that teenagers aren't as grown as they think they are!

We actually had a pipe bomb in the basement bathroom at my high school, I think the six month anniversary of Columbine. I remember us all on the football field and I was so scared because we didn't know how bad it was. It ended up being one of the ones that wouldn't have destroyed the school, but could have hurt anyone who ended up running across it, I think it had screws in it or something iirc.Oy I'm glad everything is ok

We can thank the local news media for the bomb threat. Last night during all the chaos in DC, they broadcasted that APD was dispatched and was on scene at the Capital. As usual, the media was wrong and didn't know what they are talking about. APD was NOT on the grounds of the Capital Building last night.
We were asked to come but since a lot of the out of town protesters were staying in hotels in Alexandria, the Police stayed there in case something happened when the protesters came back to the city for the night.
With the news broadcasting that APD was in DC helping out, someone got upset and called in the bomb threat.
