orange&white orange&white Holy crap, that looks good!
We've been wanting to get our pizza oven out to the grill, but the weather refuses to cooperate. Maybe this weekend, but it's supposed to rain pretty much both days.

What's for dinner tonight? Whatever I don't have to cook!

Don't you think that might be too good for him? I'm thinking Tabasco sauce.
My instinct is that he is spicy enough already! Maybe something sweet and smokey...

Corned beef hash & eggs

what? ya never had breakfast for dinner? :p
Repeatedly and often, Darlin, repeatedly and often. Scrambled eggs and biscuits are my favorite b for d meal, actually. Although, if I ever get a waffle iron, that might change.

And I really, REALLY want a waffle iron! Not so much for waffles, but to make cornbread on. A cornbread waffle with chili on it ROCKS on a cold night...and there will be cold nights again...I think...I hope...~whimper~

We love breakfast for dinner. We'll do omelets with fried potatoes and sausage or bacon. Or pancakes and sausage....I love making different kinds of pancakes. Sometimes, but rarely, we'll make waffles. Or a breakfast frittata. Breakfast isn't just for breakfast!

I don't know about dinner tonight. We were invited to dinner with friends and I was asked to bring dessert. I'm making a lemon meringue pie and a coconut cream pie. I have no idea what she's making for dinner.

I'm on my own again so I'm doing my boring as heck chicken thighs and flash-steamed veggies. A personal, simple favorite.
All the pets (dogs and cats, at least) got chicken hearts, chunks of turkey, whole ground turkey (bone in) with leftover green beans, parsley, and yogurt with a dab of pumpkin because it's time to clean out the fridge.
They all got this with a nice dose of bone broth.

Rick told me to just make the lemon meringue and let the coconut pie go for another time. This is how it turned out....and, oh, man, but it was good. It was just a bit on the tart side, just how I like my lemon meringue pie. Yummy. There was a very small piece left and Rick is scarfing it down as I type. I was a little worried about the meringue in this humidity, but I added a cooled cooked mixture of cornstarch and water to the meringue as I was beating the egg whites; that seemed to help it come together.

My GF made meatloaf, macaroni salad, pickled eggs, and fresh corn. Such a good dinner.

I made Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas for dinner (and leftovers for a few days or freezer meals). I already had cooked beans and rice frozen, so I defrosted some of those and mixed a little fresh tomato to steam with the rice.

A dozen enchiladas = lots of leftovers...

I'm not drooling, my mouth just has a cold xD

I have no idea on dinner tonight for us. We've done our thing for the day and we're fresh out of ideas.

Pets are getting a boneless meal tonight with some additions like fish oil and yogurt.
All the weirdo dogs really liked the leftover veggies yesterday. I'm going to start offering them more as a take it or leave it thing.

I read somewhere that there was a vegetarian dog that lived longer than any other dog. I don't remember how long he lived.

Tonight I had beans and rice.
