Snow maybe 3-4 inches, turned to rainsnow, kept going out and shoveling the walk and drive to avoid major shoveling when it quit. It's winter so this is the norm.

Oh ya, we got hit pretty bad with heavy wet snow yesterday and temps going down tonight. Sunday through Tuesday it's supposed to be -1F and -30F with the windchill. Unfortunately the snow and ice make it more difficult to shovel and I think our garbage and recycling bins are permanently frozen to the ground.
Wow! The high tide, almost went over the seawall, in my area of the building!! OMG>.. Neve saw it so close to the seawall.
I have to check out other parts of the building to see where it may have literally gone over the sea wall!!

Wow, you all got some crappy weather. Nine degrees and just a few inches of snow on the ground.
Windchill -8 and the wind is having it's field day out there, Currently there is roughly 7 inches of snow temp without the windchill is a whopping 10 degrees and more snow expected today. Yep winter is here.
Central Illinois. Time is 6:44 am. Accuweather isn't showing our time zone. We just got a dusting of snow, but the wind chill temp is brutal for the next 4 days.
-10°F air temperature, (-41° windchill) here in northern Illinois USA. I went out to fill the bird feeders and thought I was going to freeze solid.
I was sympathizing with everyone for the cold temps and checked our temp -7F. Certainly had been a lot colder here in January but considering we have been above freezing very recently it is an adjustment. Glad I got the snow taken care of yesterday.

-10F when I woke up this morning and -33F with the windchill. My daughter called to tell me she has no heat in her apartment. Maintenance came up twice but said they can't fix it, will have to wait for the office to open tomorrow. That's insane.

I told her they can be reported to the city. Back when we were living in the city something similar happened and the landlord basically put it off so I contacted the city and they got in trouble. Of course we moved after that and a few more unpleased experiences with the landlord too.
-2°F with real feel-22°f. Upstairs toliet, tub & bathroom sink cold water are frozen. Hot water ok in both. Hot & cold water working in kitchen & basement. Have heater on pipe in basement and another in upstairs bathroom blowing on pipes in crawlspace opening. Made chili last nite, going to make tater soup now. Front door dead lock not wanting to work. I got plastic on all but 2 of large downstairs windows. Gypsy hibernating.
Do you have a heater you can run in that bathroom?
