My grandma made doll houses and figures to go in it. They were given away except the figures. My mom tried to make one but never finished. Nieces are too old now to be interestedI gave my dollhouse my mom gave me (I don’t have kids) when I grew up to a local family that needed toys…such a joyful moment to see the kids’ eyes light up, and immediately start playing w/ it. I am glad you are reunited with yours. I remember my mom making it…I owe any confidence I have with tools to her…
iPappy no i dont have any of thatYou don't appreciate your back until it's not right. I hope it feels better soon. Do you have magnesium oil? Sometimes that helps a sore muscle for me, just apply it to the area.
I’m still looking for the furniture and accessories. I know I packed them in a small plastic storage box; so it should be somewhere at moms or possibly in my own attic. Some furniture was also made by my Grandpa and Gram made the curtains and linens. The plug for the electric is in there too.I remember you talking about that dollhouse a while back
I discovered the incredible world of miniatures when I went looking for a way to shade my marimo balls from direct sunlight
Oooh, if it helps back pain I'm going to check this out. Thank you for the link!https://m.youtube.com/hashtag/bodyweighttraining?
This is what's on my mind tomorrow since I don't work!
My back pain is gone. Balance is much better. I have lost weight but strengthening my upper and lower body and core was my main focus
Really windy and chilly to your South, too, but we don't have the sleet (yet).the weather is on my mind tonite ... we have strong winds, chilly temperature of 28 degrees and it is sleeting too
You're welcome, and you're right. We all have a bit of that amazing grace in our lives.Ooo, dang, Cuddles got me but it's ok, it's all good and those photos are beautiful. Thank you for that
That’s awesome! I just found “Booklender,” which works like Netflix— they mail you either a book or an CD audio book and you return it whenever you like, then the next one on your list comes. Perfect for my ancient & nearly blind neighbor who doesn’t do computers! He’ll just tell me what he wants.I think I finally put a dent in DD's Christmas shopping. It's very weird having her outgrow toys. I get a teacher discount on Thrift Books; so I got quite a few books for her that way. She won't care they are used. And she reads so much; it's worth going that route. I couldn't find as much for DS; but he isn't into series that are old enough yet.
Now to try to figure out what to tell her Grandparents she wants... SIL and I discussed gift cards for book and craft stores. Toy buying days were simpler!
That is short but not bleeding so I think it's ok. Just let them know next time. A vets assistant does it, not the vetThank you!!
Oh nice! I think DH's grandmother had a service something like that years ago but it was through a group for the visually impaired. She was in her 90s and having trouble seeing so she liked the audio books. I'll have to look it up because you never know when you'll meet someone who could really enjoy something like that! That’s awesome!
