Hope you feel better on the medication soon. No wonder your blood pressure is high, in your situation, though!Dont worry, i am protecting them. The cats mostly go out when i am down there. I thought his obsession with them would lessen over time, but it hasnt at all. He cant hear or see them without chasing after them. He is so obsessed he even imitates her. Goes around meowing and climbing the places she climbs. I was talking to my sister and she mentioned she heard that one of the cats scratched my nephew, and i explained what was going on. Surprisingly she told me she didnt like that the baby was chasing down the cats, and that she would try to correct him when she comes down. I was expecting her to act like everything is the cats fault.
I dont know what to do anymore. Every time i have taken my cats to my room (when i fumigate or need them somewhere safe) my cat Kitty loses her mind. She cannot stand being locked up. Thats really the only solution have her be miserable in a tiny room. I have spoken to my niece and she tells him something when he bothers the cats, but shes not good at disciplining him. He is very spoiled and doesnt listen to her. Not sure what i will do, but i am keeping an eye on the cats for now.
Remember how my sister was going to secretly cut my nieces hair? My SIL texted me that shes given up and decided to take her daughter to a salon. I am so relieved! She says it will be a birthday gift. Thankfully abbys birthday will be here in a couple of weeks. Shes going to have a pixie cut, so its going to be such a relief for her to have all that hair gone.
Oh no! I am sorry about your car. It is always frustrating when expenses like that crop up. Car repairs are not cheap. I hope it didnt affect you too badly. I was able to get my battery replaced for free. But toyota keeps telling my i need to replace my tires, and my brakes. The brakes dont respond as well as they used to.
My brother has been telling me for a year that he would fix it for free. But kept saying the car could wait a while. I sent him two texts asking what would be a good time to take it and he never responded. I dont know if i should call him, as i dont like begging people for help. If i ask for help and i am ignored, i prefer to just leave things as is.
i tried the baby asprin and my pressure wouldnt go down. It was constantly at 160/100 so i gave in and started the medication. I am feeling better and the huge headaches i would have in the morning are gone. The medicine made me feel woozy for a couple of days, but i am feeling much better now.
Do you have vertical cat furniture in your room that Kitty can climb, maybe in front of a window so she can look out at what's going on in the world? When you don't have a lot of space, the answer is to build up. Cats like to climb and perch. So if you can do something like that, it may help her. The Feliway spray or plug-ins may help as well.
Well, I don't envy the salon person that has to deal with that hair, but it can't happen too soon, right? Hope to hear it's been done next time. Your niece will be so much happier without that mess.
As for your nephew, he urgently needs other distractions. Reading is a great one. TV and computer games and stuff like that are okay, too -- just anything to distract him. Does he go outside in the yard and play? It's unconscionable for him to be bothering the cats. That needs to stop.
