Love your Cat Mom coffee mug! Those sweaters are pretty too.
Lol, Thanks!Action shot! very impressive.
Glad they've decided they like their new kitty condo.
Thanks! It was from my neighbor. The pink cardigan from my mom, the gray is a blanket from my nephew & his fiance, as well as the book. .Love your Cat Mom coffee mug! Those sweaters are pretty too.
What a little dolly Honey is. Such pretty colors.Just hard a little "working with Honey" session.
Yes, she's definitely taking A Lot longer than Panther did. He was pretty easy. She looks like she's starting to decide good things can come from hands, but isn't quite there yet.
She does seem to be getting a little less nervous. Sweetie girl.Just hard a little "working with Honey" session......

Yes, & yay, look what just now happened again. ( I was fixing their dinner)She does seem to be getting a little less nervous. Sweetie girl.
He's a sweet boy. Doesn't really like to be picked up, but once & awhile that happens.Panther is a real cuddlebug and hopefully Honey will follow in his footsteps soon.
She's beautiful. Very happy Panther is so at ease inside, too bad about the extra charge each month. To lure Honey closer you might try meat sticks from Sheba. You break off pieces from the stick but watch your fingers! Gypsy loves them and they are used for special behavior reward. I use Inaba Churu to get Gypsy to eat her probiatic. It comes in tubes and is a creamy paste. I mix the Churu and probiotic together and she licks the bowl clean, she loves it. I believe I could train her to do anything using either one of them as rewards. We are working towards toofer brushing using bits of the meat sticks as a reward per the 4 step video I'm following.Just hard a little "working with Honey" session......

No you definitely don't want to separate them or abandon them. Using the meat sticks and/or Churu may get Honey closer to you outside and gradually relax her more. Eventually Panther would probably be more inclined to stay inside if Honey was there too. I found the Sheba meat sticks at Walmart and the Churu on line at Chewy. You may even get her comfortable enough for you to apply the Advantage. For positive reinforcement these two things beat out Tempations.Thank you. Yes, I believe even if I could keep Panther in, it'd be a challenge to try to "keep him in." The most time he's stayed inside with me was about an hour. After that he cries at the door to go BK out. He's pawed up the rug there in front of the door too. I'd need possible help with either some calming treats, or something from the vet, if needed. When I kept him in my bathroom before & after neutering, he also didn't use the litter box, but the cat bed instead......
I also wouldn't want to take him from Honey. They're to bonded. Of course, IF I ever left here, I would have to figure it all out, & deal with it all. It would be quite a challenge!! Especially trying to trap Honey!!
But I would never abandon them. I suspect that has happened to some degree twice already. IF they came from the abandoned house behind the fence. ( Was told older person lived there, & passed away. Everything still left in the house). To an older couple that lived here before me, & occasionally fed them. Feeding them twice a day, & caring for them, I'm probably the only consistent person they've had in their lives. For a while anyway.
what a great house!!Ok guys, the "kitty crib" is here! My dad put the window in the back, & brought it over, so we could snap it all together. It's a really nice big size for the price! ......now if they'll only get in it.. still working on that. I tossed treats in there a couple of times & Panther got in to eat them...but then bk out.
The blankets still have their smell, so was hoping that would help. Their beds actually do fit in there, but want to use the heated pet pad instead. Hopefully they'll explore it later, & stay in there. I taped the door flaps open in hopes they'd get in, not being used to them. So guess it's just going to be it's supposed to get down in the 20's Christmas night!!

I just went out & taped one flap up more, in hopes they'll get in later. I just didn't want wind blowing rain in. It's supposed to be super windy tomorrow. ( Says up to 19 miles/ hr, & 60% rain!)
