kashmir64 kashmir64 --What other pretty boy bands do you like? Here's some Goo Goo Dolls:
Not sure what you mean by pretty boy bands. I prefer '80's music.
The Boss, U2, INXS, Muse, Peter Gabriel, AC/DC, Billy Idol, Meatloaf, Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and a ton more it would take me all day to list. Even oldies like Elvis and Soloman Burke.

Even though this is the only song by these guys I know, I still like it a lot.

And my newest favorite

Other than Bellamy (because he went through a phaze of looking like Tennant) I have never put emphasis on looks. I'm a voice person. If I like your voice, I will probably like you, type of person. Take Freddy Mercury for example. Not good looking (especially early years), but he has a 4 octave voice. Only him and Julie Andrews has had this (that I know of). How can you NOT like him?
Although, I did have a thing for Steve Perry (Journey) back in the '80's. Saw them 4 times in concert. And Randy Rhodes (lead guitarist for Ozzy). Saw him too. (seen more concerts than I can name - or remember)

Okay, Gotcha. I'll have to look up this Tennant guy, I never heard of him. Now that you mention Journey, I'll have to post some.

But that's not why I like Muse. They are just an awesome band.
Yeah I know, he has both looks and talent. I never heard that Journey song you posted. Here's one of Steve Perry's solo hits. I heard they got back together!

Someone mentioned Collective Soul, they were supposed to play here in NH in 2001 but it got postponed due to 9/11 and I was unable to attend. I love their music.

Gel By Collective Soul

That entire album is really good! The next one that came out isn't bad but not as good as the first one.
Listen by Collective Soul

Journey has some great music! That greatest hits one I used to listen to over and over growing up! I also love Def Leppard

Hysteria by Def Leppard

Love Bites

I have been playing country for the past week and now going back to rock..right now playing Collective Soul their self titled album. I really wish I went to their concert when they were playing at the Hampton Beach Casino ball room. Ive seen quite a few people there back in the 1980s and 1990s with my parents.

M maggiedemi From Wikipedia "The title track, "The Friends of Mr Cairo", peaked at No. 1 on the Canadian singles chart in late 1981, though this track was not a hit elsewhere." It got played on the radio a lot up here in the early 80s. I used to have it as my ringtone. I was in a store and when my phone went off the guy in front of me commented that he had not heard it in a very long time.

Don Henley has many good songs.

Boys of summer is one of my favorites.

The youtube version isn't as good as the cut off his greatest hits album-it's like they removed a few beats of the song and just sounds off to me...so I am playing it on CD and what a really good melody! I think I like the background music more than the actual song itself. The guitar and keyboard along with the drums...just a really awesome combination.

Mr Mister also did a similar song, Broken Wings- another great acoustics/melody in this one.
