Wish I'd read this last night .if you'd worked for them I'm sure they'd have put you in a different department entirely, so don't let it give you nightmares.

Aww I'm sorry it didn't work out. Sometimes its best to rehome especially if the older cats are not happy. So it looks like I'm going to have to return Oz. He has become an impossible bully and won't leave my poor older cat alone. I know its just kitten exuberance, but the way he's going after him he's going to hurt my poor orange guy. I can play with him for hours, but even after that he'll hunt Carrot down to pin him and bite him.
I'm really sorry it didn't work out the way you hoped. I'm sure your older baby will appreciate you doing what is best for him. I'm also sure the little kitty will find a wonderful home with another family. But I'm glad he got a chance with an owner as great as you! And you got to show him lots of love in the time you had with him!So it looks like I'm going to have to return Oz. He has become an impossible bully and won't leave my poor older cat alone. I am really hopeful that's the case. I also hope the shelter has space for him soon. He's driving me insane.I'm really sorry it didn't work out the way you hoped. I had to rehome a 2-year old cat 3 years ago because he would not leave the other cats alone. He has been very happy in his new home, it seemed love at first hug on both sides and he has had a kitten companion for the last 2 years (obviously grown now) who bossed him around from day one. He is a Maine Coon mix and she is a pure Persian, so figure: a big male with a good amount of hair vs a small female with a lot more hair, she looked as big as he was, I guess he thought she was more formidable than she really was. They get along fine now but she still bosses him around, eating his food and sleeping in his bed but not letting him get near HER stuff or sleeping in HER spot on mama's bed at night. So it looks like I'm going to have to return Oz. We're getting snow here in the Denver area, too - have been all evening. The weather report did say that there was a winter storm warning for today, but it strongly implied that the snow would be limited to the mountains. Nope. I'm making a point of being an "indoor cat" today. Oh, good! I just heard the garage door opening, which means that Roger is home. I thought there was a good chance he'd spend the night at the office. It just won't stop raining here. At least we aren't getting snow like West River .

Did the er do any blood work? Check for MRSA? There are so many ways toSorry I haven't been around lately. I have a question for anyone who knows anything about medical stuff. A couple of weeks ago, I was getting Aedan ready for his bath and he had an abscess on the bottom of his foot. It was huge!
There was nothing on his foot that morning when I put his socks on. Because it came up so suddenly, I took him the ER. They drained it and gave him antibiotics but couldn't give me any idea of what caused it. I made him an appointment with his pediatrician, but John got called into work. It was pretty much healed by then (only a couple of days later) and when I called to reschedule, they said they'd give me an appointment, but since it was healing, I could just wait until his next checkup to see if the pediatrician could satisfy my curiosity.
Does anyone have any idea what could have caused this? We'd been home all day; he hadn't been wearing shoes - just socks. There's no way he could have burned it - there's nothing for him to burn it on. He didn't act like it hurt. He was walking around all day with no hint of being in pain, no limp or anything. He still didn't act like it hurt after it was drained. I'm just at a loss.
Why are they dying?Did you know that 44 horses died last season on the racetracks? 25 died this year so far. I've always loved to watch horse racing and I had no idea that the horses were dying! This makes me so incredibly sad.
Injuries I guess. I had no idea so many horses were dying every year from racing. Why are they dying?
On the news they said that the tracks were bad because of all of the rain they have been having. PITA is on the case.Injuries I guess. I had no idea so many horses were dying every year from racing.
PITA kills cats & dogs, that's another shocking thing I found out about.PITA
