I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it's snowing and 50° outside. I understand the 'higher clouds are colder' thing, but it seems to be sticking to the already 4"-6" on the ground. At 50° it should be rain or sleet, but snow?
How odd. You may send a few inches of it to me.

You can have it, we've had enough this year.
At least the wind has stopped. This is the first day in 4 weeks. I don't mean a nice breeze, it's been sustained 20mph with gusts of 50mph for four (count them - 4) weeks. Today, it's around 5-10mph with no gust.
They say that a lot of early settlers were driven insane by the wind. I believe it. At one point last year the wind blew for several weeks straight and it does mess with your head. And I don't even live in a little dugout on the prairie. . .
Am I the only person here who adores wind and rain and thunder and lightning and cold and snow and fog?
I love all but the cold, snow and fog
I do, in their place. But they do get carried away and wear out their welcome sometimes

Oh I love it, just not when I'm out in it. And 4 weeks is a little much.
I love stormy weather - unless I have to go somewhere lol.
