Elvis, 15, is now an "only cat" and he is very lonely without her. I want to adopt again, but we have roomies in the "intro room," so until they leave, it's just Elvis and me.
Beautiful boy-My boy Cheech(rip) lived a wonderful life for nearly 19 yrs by my side with diabetes( well managed and treated).....God Bless Maui !!!

I'll reach into the past a bit and show you one of my favorite pictures of kitten-Sophie. This was in 2007, when she was just brand new to our family.

Oh yes, she was stretching, but also showing us how "big" she could be, I think. Such a sweetie, she was.
Roxy was just such a nice kitty. She was the kitty who would wake me up in the morning, and sit on the bed almost all day waiting for me to come back. She came to us as a 3-1/2 year old shelter kitty. We were told by the shelter that she was a stray, but her story just never quite fit the social, gentle cat we knew.
Well, okay, she did kind of bully Sophie (who was younger than her) a bit at first when we adopted her, but they seemed to have worked that out, pretty much around the time we adopted another kitten, Jasper. Those were wild days.
