Today-- at least what is planned, and not what I will accomplish:
* Regular mornign stuff-- including G's morning meds
* Downstairs for another Covid Testing Clinic-- man, I wish people would just wear masks; and I wish they would keep tings closed in here. How much sense does it take? They foolishly reopened up the dining room, last night: Before the Covid test!! They did cancel the 3 in person activities.. but left the dining room open!! Stupidity.. and people are not wearing masks! Foolish! Most of the people in here have medical conditions.. I wonder if it is a subconscious, 'death' wish...
We will see how if there are any more cases of Covid, after the testing..
I am sure there will be more, next week.
* Have to go out for a few errands.
** home..

Never did clean out the Litter Genie-- must do that today.

Not sure what to have for supper.. I am on a chocolate craze... ugh.. need to stop.

The usual - made bed, started a morning fire in the wood burning stove, etc. Himself fed the cats since he was first downstairs.

Thought about putting the bird feeders out but we're supposed to get another torrential rain today. So I threw seed on the ground instead. Started the dough for no-knead bread yesterday late afternoon. Will bake late afternoon today. Now coffee. Laundry later.
Weather report is also for strong winds, with a warning that since the ground is already saturated from the two previous storms it is possible that trees will fall.

Annual eye exam this morning, then I walked the mall before coming home. Trying to get a daily walk in so my legs can hand sightseeing when I go on vacation in April.

UGH.. found out yesterday that My pharmacy, Rite-Aid is closing next Wednesday!! Been going there for decades!! Love the staff there-- like part of my family.. My dad went there, and they loved my dad. They still talk about him. They even came to his wake and funeral..

And when getting my morning meds, I could not find my BP meds!! What the heck did I do with them, since yesterday? I have not thrown any trash away since Sunday... so where are they?? I hope I did not throw the container out.. darn

* quick partial morning stuff
* Search for meds
* medicate Geoffrey
* Out to pharmacy--- I have coupons to pick some things up.. might as well use them-- IF they still have them on the shelves. I have $10 in credits to use also. Just going to stock up on what they still have on the shelves..
* need to decide what to do about new pharmacy. I do not care for the one they are automatically sending my scripts to.. Have to check out the new one, and register.. It will be a pain.

Not much else on the schedule... Still did not clean Litter Genie. The news yesterday, wiped me out.. I was hugging and crying the staff.. I had a couple of workers, in tears, when I hugged them, to say good-bye.. They thanked me... OMG>> so sad..

Tomorrow is Dentist appointment.

Work on a pantry deep clean this afternoon, washing sugar, salt and flour containers, wiping down or relining shelves, going through saves extra spices and I suspect tossing most. I had cleaned out most of canned and stored goods a few months ago but didn’t finish with this clean, so really needed.

This morning while I was down in the basement to row I revised my litterbox area so I wasn’t nearly tripping over things when I go down. I am going to pick up a litter mat this afternoon at Petsmart. I bought one for Lola’s room a few months ago and it does a great job of containing litter.

Rick got up with the girls, so I could take a quick shower. I have appt with the oncologist, basically to find out where I'm at as far as the rest of the chemo treatments, followed by a 2-hour IV/fluids session. Not only were my fluids really low, but the white blood count was bottoming out, too. I'm assuming that I need to get my kidneys back to working OK before continuing with any chemo. And I don't know how long that will take. We have a lot of questions for today.

Rick said that, if I'm up to it, he'd like to go to breakfast after. We'll see how I feel. I've not really been out in public (other than hospital, oncology, doctors, etc) since I lost my hair, so it makes me nervous. I do have a cap I'll wear. But still... And we both mask all the time.

Come home, straighten up my messy kitchen.

That's a great idea- have a nice breakfast out for a change! You're incognito today 😷

Mall walk this morning. I am hoping to get myself up to at least three miles at a reasonably fast pace. It’s a good sized mall so each loop of a level is a 1/2 mile and there are two levels. Family trip to New Orleans in April and that is a city where you do alot of walking.

A bit of cat blanket laundry to do but other than that just working on my puzzle.

Between your rowing & walking the family is going to have to try & keep up with you👍You're gonna take New Orleans on like a walk in the park! Lol

Hah. My son and his Gf do these 8 mile hikes through the mountains. I am sure I will lag behind or give out way before them. Fortunately New Orleans had a nice casino when I can rest while they continue to sightsee

Not sure what the day will bring. It is raining; to last almost all day. So far, this storm is not as bad, for me, as the last one; which was torrential. It is warm in here, and outside-- 46 degrees. As this storm passes through, the temperature will drop dramatically.. Two more stops this upcoming week--- with snow.. UGH>> Winter is arriving.. We are in a pattern of storms every 3 days.. UGH.. last time that happened, we had the worst winter: most snow ever: 2015. Not ready for that.

Things I know for sure:
* Regular morning stuff
* medicate Geoffrey
* Cuddle with Geoffrey
not sure what else. It is all up in the air.

We had another ton of rain last night into this morning. Now the winds are gusting and roaring around the house. I guess that's the front runner for the arctic air that's coming in...it's going to be ugly this week.
  • Rick got up with the girls and told me to sleep in for a while. Molli came back after breakfast and we snuggled for a while. Got up, gave the girls their after-breakfast breakfast and am enjoying my coffee. It's the little things! I swear!
  • I did get some vacuuming done yesterday, but that was as far as I got. Rick brought Baby Blue (the blue KA) from the basement yesterday, so I have to make room for her on the counter. I need to clean the counters, while I'm at it and straighten out the kitchen. (I was going to do that the other day and my body had other ideas...I spend a lot of time on the couch.)
  • Make dinner. I'm including it as a thing because I don't know how long it's going to take me to do it.
I had a doctor appt yesterday and found out that my potassium level is still really low. He sent in a script for meds, but the pharmacy doesn't have them and I need to wait until the "next workday" which I'm thinking means Monday. Meanwhile, the doctor said that's why my legs are so rubbery and I feel they can't hold me up. It's the lack of potassium. Who knew? So I do a little bit here and there around the house and, when my legs feel that they're done for a while, I sit.
