Just the topping, unless I make it with Granny Smith's and don't add any brown sugar. But I do add more butter to the pancakes or french toast (butter, yum!)

Yum! I don't think I ever had a corn souffle, what is that?

For me, I have a recipe that uses a corn bread mix, butter, eggs, creamed corn (I don't like it but you can't tell in this recipe so I put it in), frozen corn (or fresh in season), and sour cream. Not as light as a real souffle but so tasty.

Pot Pies are my favorite!

Oh me too! When I was little my mom would buy those frozen ones that are probably terrible but I sure loved them.

Yes, for about 2 years now.

I've been mostly vegetarian for awhile, but some things I just am not going to give up. Just trying to help the planet a little.

BIG NEWS from my corner of the world...the bad-ish first. Spawn One has COVID, but is almost over it. He has Omicron, but was fully vaxxed and boosted, and says it wasn't bad, at all. Good news...while Spawn One has been recovering, his wife has given birth to Briggs. He was born yesterday, February 4, 8 pounds, 2 ounces. Kailyn will be staying with her mother until Drew is no longer shedding the virus. He's having a cleaning team come in to sanitize the house before they come home. He says the worst part is not being able to get his hands on Briggs. LOL, "Mom, MY HANDS ITCH, I want to hold him so bad!" Good sign, that.

She and some of the others guard the Clowder with purrrpose. If you arrive with big ears it only puts Whistle on alert but he will whistle to bring others. Bonnie saw us he will come if you have lots of baby toys.

Food. Lol No, not everything here has to be gluten free. I get other foods to have for other people. Lol The pot pies I made were not gluten free.,I may eat a little but if I eat much, I will pay! Lol I don’t eat condiments but everyone coming here does. Lol I do use salt and pepper on my food. I have honey in the cabinet. Don’t worry. If you come here, Banjo will let you shop for any food you want! (As long as you let her order too.)
Corn soufflé is kind of like creamed corn turned into a cloud that melts in your mouth. I whip the egg whites for mine which gives it the light texture. Cheese could be added but I like mine to have that rich corn flavor.

I cannot have much corn but I make exceptions at times so I don’t feel totally deprived of the things I love to eat.

I will have to separate the eggs next time and whip the whites and see how it is. I love to add roasted green chiles to mine sometimes. Even more heaven.

OH YUM! When I lived in Georgia, there was a wonderful farmer's market not too far from the house. The man kept a big vat of peanuts boiling all the time, and dipped them up for you to order. Hot, freshly boiled peanuts are to DIE for!

I haz a mad. Drew sent me a short video of Briggs to my phone, but it's too large to email to myself and get on my computer, and, although the video shows up on my photos, it does NOT show up on my photos when I try to post it to TCS via my phone. I'll see if Jazzie can help me tomorrow. He looks JUST LIKE HIS DADDY DID! Well, all babies look kinda alike, but this is uncanny...right down to all the dark hair!

M maggiedemi Yes, chiles are necessary for life. At least, they are in my family. A friend's father was told by his doctor that he shouldn't eat chiles any more (older man, from another chile-eating background) and when I heard that, I felt like crying for him. Life without chiles is existence, not living.
