beautiful, thank you for sharing!
I am so glad so many here enjoyed the pics.Whenallhellbreakslose beautiful, thank you for sharing!
Yes, thank you. Indeed orchids are spectacular and definitely they are Kings of flowers.tabbytom Oh my! Spectacular Grammatophyllum! I’m not surprised it got awarded! Those are a challenge to grow and some can take up huge amounts of space! Those are perfect flowers too! Ahhhhh. Orchids! Some of nature’s most amazing flowers. I have always said that if roses are the queens of flowers, orchids must be kings. Thank you, thank you! A Purrfect end to a day. Cats, smiles and orchids.
Thank you!tabbytom wow, gorgeous! Thank you!
No thanks. I want a Muffin, not a Mugging.Oh yes! Mugging is yours. You don’t really think I could get her on a plane?
Banjo gets blamed for everything! If I were her, I would be boarding a plane to come visit me ASAP.There is the added element of
Now I'm even more confused.Ally is the way it is with the vet but I had spelled it Alley originally. Alley/Ally spells it Allie. She wants it spelled similar to her BFF
Yes! I told him I was cold and he said "Dogs are warm. You should get a dog."You told him you were cold and he said to get a dog?!?!?
Is Mackie a Bengal?Mackie is easy. He is always laughing and he’s huge.
I see what you're doing. You're just trying to get me to come visit! Very subtle...If you were around them, it would be much easier.
Sounds like heaven.all in a pile, it’s not easy to tell where one cat starts or ends.
Wait...What?....The bunny bit the cat, then the cat bit the dog, then the dog bit the human?wounds received while rescuing the neighbors doggo from cat Rox who attacked doggo after the bunny that Rox chased into the yard bit him (Rox).
I've never seen such long stems Orchids. Yes, the markings are unique. That’s a very leopard looking flower. I love the color and markings. It’s hard to beat the exotic blooms of an orchid!
Yes, I realized that too. They need personal spaces to grow well but this Grammatophyllum Orchid is huge and it take up lots of space. That's why orchids are always hung up or stand on racks above ground in the nurseries.tabbytom That’s why I was saying they are a challenge to grow and take up a lot of space. The bloom stems need a lot of room to develop. There are other types of orchids that take a lot of room for blooming. Schomburgkias have very long bloom stems with flowers that are set several feet away from the plant. I had one bloom last year but I don’t think I showed how long the bloom stem was. It wasn’t one of the longest in the species but it was impressive. Orchids are very diverse in their bloom habits. One of my very favorite types has to be grown in slatted baskets if you want to see them flower because the flowers emerge from the underside of the plant and the stems go straight down! Stanhopeas are large flowers and nicely scented but hang under the plant. Lol Very unique family of plants. I will always be fascinated by them. Some can bloom for only a day while others can bloom sequentially for months on end.
Human dropped leash while tying shoe, cat chased bunny into doggos yard, bunny bit cat, cat attacked (very mellow and friendly) doggo who was minding his own business in his own yard, cat damaged human who was rescuing dog from cat attack. Bunny fine, dog fine, cat to vet (Rox just lost patch of fur), human only casuality. No thanks. I want a Muffin, not a Mugging.

Whistle, you look guilty around the chops. And Banjo, you look like his accomplice. Just sayin'...But Jcatbird , you know about boys wanting to take joyrides, right? and of course the girls will be there, either beside them as partners in crime, or watching to cheer them on (and plead ignorance if they get nabbed by the hooman!) so it's all in a day's adventures at Chez Catbird, right?I was working outside at cleaning out carriers today. Hmmm. My van looks cleaner! I came back inside and.....
Someone had my keys!

View attachment 381788
You’re holding on to those keys pretty tight Banjo.
View attachment 381789
Not really hooman! Just sitting with them.
View attachment 381790
Have you been joy riding again?
View attachment 381791
Riding would be a joy! Lol I like driving better than riding though.
View attachment 381792
You drove the van?!?!?! Better give me those keys.
View attachment 381793
That’s not what I said hooman.
View attachment 381794

View attachment 381795

Hmmm. The van does look cleaner but I found some kibbles in the cup holder next to the drivers seat. Is that a Chik Fil A wrapper on the floor?
They could have brought me some take outs!
