Our neighbors wanted a companion for their other dog and we persuaded them to adopt. :yess: They went through a dedicated rescue group and brought their new boy home over the weekend. We brought lots of treats and a big bully stick for the new guy today. Since the weather was so delightful we stayed in the yard watching the two dogs play for most of the afternoon. :greenpaw::bluepaw:

First Robin of Spring. He was having such an exhuberant bath in a snow melt puddle that he didn’t even notice when I walked up. A bird bathing is such a fun thing to watch that I stood and waited for him to finish his bath before moving.

I got the girls a new tree today. Sophie supervised me putting it together. She kept swatting the instructions off the table. That was her version of helping I think. Here's the tree www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N94Z7XQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's really nice. 8 scratching posts (which have gotten both girls' seal of approval), a cubby, a top bed (both have removable plush cushions) and 3 toys. The middle section is a hammock. The plush material on it is very soft.

Here's Sophie testing out the bottom cubby as soon as I took it out of the box

Here she is test driving the tree fully assembled. Is it even a tree or maybe a triplex?

Lilith tried it out too. She was scratching the post on the bottom right and scooted up it to swat at the fluffy ball on the very top. I tried to take her picture and she jumped down and left the room. :rolleyes2:

my full-figured Callie girl may have probs moving around in it.
That's why I haven't bought a cat tree yet, my cats are 18 inches long, so I don't know if they would fit. The positive is that I have an entertainment system that I emptied and they climb on that and sleep on it like a cat tree. :)

I bet they love that; all the nooks and shelves. Good idea!:yess:
