I agree straw does suck. I hate the feel of it myself.
How did you train them to go in on command? I leave the carrier out about half the time and I fed Ailish in the carrier for 4 months. She does not run and hide when she sees the carrier and it is not a struggle for her to be put in the carrier. However, she is not trained to go in on command, and I don't want to trick her by putting food in there and then shutting the door. I would LOVE for her to go in by herself! Any tips?Yes, they go right in. They aren't afraid of it because I leave it out all the time. They would rather be carried around in that than picked up, they hate being picked up.
