Yes, you mix it in wet food or tuna like you did the other one. I think that's all you need for now since you already gave her the tapeworm pill. It says 1 teaspoon for a 10 pound cat though. Will Drifter eat a whole teaspoon in her tuna? Maybe a little less if she weighs less than 10 pounds.

i bet she weighs 10 pounds. my little lion is pretty sturdy, not to mention chubby. she loves tuna, but i might have to give a whole teaspoon over 2 days. a teaspoon is a lot for one sitting.
she would probably eat a whole can of tuna, but that's a diet buster.

I know, that's why I don't use the liquid anymore because my cats won't eat the full teaspoon and it is supposed to be given all at once. There is a girl on here who knows where to get Drontal tablets online cheaper, but I don't remember who it was, maybe I can find it if I do a board search.

1-800pet meds has drontral for $6.83 but no free shipping unless you spend $49.
that's for 1 tablet.
gonna be expensive but it looks like it controls lots of different worms plus, a tablet i can crush will be easier to administer.
they're gonna hit me on shipping.
this is an insanely expensive animal.

I would go with a broad-spectrum wormer, either Drontal or one of the fenbendazole products. For some reason I thought the wormer you gave her was roundworm, but now we're on page 41, so my memory is bad too. Could have been tapeworm. Either way, I think if she is eating rodents or might be, you want one that knocks out 4 types of worms with one product.

i gave her tapeworm only. i guess i'll get dontral.
i kick her out every night.
she is supposed to be hunting then.

i am studying boxing matches. they have rules, like either party can call a halt.
if my hand slowly moves to touch her, she is not allowed to swat til i'm ready to spring.
i believe this game will evolve into one with complex rules.
this critter can think n make decisions.
i said i wasn't interested in playing with her, because i was afraid it could cause aggression.
but, boxing aggression is acceptable. no thot of claws.
plus, it's just fun.

Roundworms could definitely cause her dull dry coat. Worms could also be making her eat more food. I bet she'll look better after Drontal.

Drifter is such a lovely cat with her personality and all. Sounds like you two are having fun with your boxing games.

i know she doesn't wanna hurt me, but i thot claws would come out automatically. would have expected claws when a cat swats.
i'm surprised

Claws don't come out with either of my two indoor kitties. They have good manners, like Drifter does. It's Misfit who never learned that claws are reserved for catching prey and toys.

that's good to know. can you box with them?
people seem to say that excitement causes claws.
i refuse to accept that.

I don't really play with my cats with bare hands. I mentioned playing "thing under the cover" with Farrell (where "thing" was my hand), but she quickly started attacking my feet under the sheet. We stopped playing that and went back to toys and fetch the rubber band. :p

i'll try the rubber bands but can almost guaranty she won't be interested if it's not alive.
my little killer expects to eat anything she catches.
i kinda like playing bare handed because everybody says its a bad idea.

You have to watch her with rubber bands. If she starts chewing on a rubber band, take it away from her. Some cats do eat them and they can cause a deadly intestinal blockage. I'm confident that Farrell isn't interested in eating them, so I have several on the floor for her to fetch. She's not interested unless I'm popping them off the walls.

so far, she only eats food.
i want a game i can win. so far, she's ahead at boxing.

mostly, she just gets caressed, inside or out.
do you realize, i have more than 100 hours of cuddling this beast?.
i would be shocked to see hateful behavior.
she's coming in 3 times/day, for a couple hours a time.
that's a lot more than i intended.
she's pushing her way in.
still feral in ways tho. you can see it.
