Maybe I was just so used to them not chasing eachother in this capacity that I went blind for who it looks when it's bad. That's a great video. It's completely normal catly behavior.
So, I went back through earlier posts in your thread.
This is a quote from a little more than a year ago , just for reference.
I was just taken aback by Cosmo growling and hissing at Monty.
Yeah, I probably am overthinking it xD And thanks for the advice! I'll start working more with the clicker. You're overthinking this, I believe. When you hear Monty start, then you utilize the clicker to shift his mindset. Or, walk over and pick up Cosmo and love on Cosmo. If Monty still looks interested, walk away with Cosmo. Other times, pick up Monty and love on him so he doesn't get jealous, but Cosmo is the one who will benefit most from extra loving.
Otherwise, just let them have at it, although I totally agree that hours worth of it from Monty is excessive and too much. Maybe find ways to shift stuff around so Cosmo can retreat to that office room you talked about in earlier posts.
Cosmo could retreat, we have a wonderful cat tree i the office and a huge pillow and if he would like to remove him self entirely he could jump on the closet where Monty can't get.
I weight them irreuularly before, but since testing free feeding I want to weigh them every two weeks or so.Anyway, if you aren't weighing them, definitely start doing that every couple weeks and keep a log.
And I try my best to play with them at two times a day.
C calicosrspecial I didn't forget your post I'll read it and answer when I'm home from work
