Hello From Oregon

Hi,
My name is Sara and I just adopted a black 8 week old kitty who I named Itachi (any anime fans might get the reference ) We're still in the warming up phase; he tends to flinch when I move quickly, but he's running all over the room and playing with everything, which he wouldn't do the first night. He purrs when I hold and pet him but he hasn't approached me for any of that yet. Right now he's got a serious case of the kitten zoomies and is having a stalking war with my blanket. I'm having a blast.

Anyways, I haven't had a cat for quite a while, and it's been even longer since I've had a kitten. So I'm sure I'll be asking for help a lot.

Welcome to you and Itachi - love the name and he looks beautiful from your avatar; I have a particular soft spot for black cats.
