I'll give it a try. I also have some unused scented cat litter I had gotten by mistake and we had kept in the vehicles last winter. Not sure if I should scatter it or place small containers of it around the shed.

I had a place that stunk once and thumb tacked a bunch of of those fresheners that makes your clothes smell nice in the dryer. It worked.

With this horrendous heat perhaps the sidewalk would be hot enough to cook your omelet?

My thought was kitty litter. I have a friend who has a second-hand shop/repurposing shop, and she swears by it. She sprinkles on large items,, and places small items in containers of it.

Maria Bayote Bonjour. Lol Our black floof is just a tiny kitty so he prefers a sneak attack. Usually he grabs tails from a safe and high perch. Lol He is the little black bombshell that attacks from above. Or…. hides.

N NY cat man Heh. You beat me to that suggestion! I just dumped a ten pound bag into the trailer here. There had been a leak and I used some Kilz paint for the stain , then the baking soda for the smell.

tarasgirl06 It is neither of those. It could be viewed as reducing fossil fuel use? However, the production of such concerns me about what is used in the manufacturing process. It will greatly increase shipping sooooo, fossil fuel used to get all that is needed. Waste. Will it go into the River? That has happened before. Here is the good news! I just read that the factory that dumped waste into the river was shut down. It took eleven years to clean up the river. Just as life returned to the river, this new plant announced its arrival so naturally there may be concern. It took great effort to begin restoring the river. I only just discovered the reported “watch” on this new plant but it made me breathe a sigh of relief. When I was contacted by land officials recently, I pleaded for time to relocate some endangered species. I received several calls and asked ,”who I have represented.” Me? Ummmm. You? Lol Us? I will hope for preservation of the Mojave too. We cannot protect everything but everything protected counts.

I expect to still be occupied a lot but I will be checking in here regularly, as always. I always read every post here. I am most grateful to everyone here for keeping the ball of catnip rolling on the thread. I always smile here. My heart is here.

As a by-the-bye, I spotted Grumpy in a new spot yesterday. I have my tomato plants growing on trellises, and there he was, sleeping in their shade. I also use straw as a mulch, and with the recent rain, it left the ground nice and cool for him.
