Wondering how someone can back out of there driveway and not see a car on the street and total it like they just did my Mom's car. And then brag about not having insurance so tough luck she won't pay. And yes we got a police report.

My DD and I are testing out some online math programs for next year. This one we have up now is bright and engaging. It teaches in a comic book style along with videos and games. Interesting but the guy in the video is getting on my nerves with his attempt at being funny and engaging. I’ll have to ask DDs opinion on that later but I don’t think I can listen to that all year. 
I feel like the explanations are overkill too.
The one with the Australian accent is much better to listen and follow; but definitely lower tech.

I talked John into letting me buy an Owlet Smart Sock. It's a little sensor that goes into a tiny sock on baby's foot and monitors her. I bought a used one off ebay. Perfect condition and it was only $150. New, they're $250. I have it all set up and I kinda already love it. It monitors her oxygen and heart rate and keeps track of her sleep. It's connected to my phone and that's where I get all the data.
The website has a disclaimer that says it doesn't claim to prevent SIDS, but if she stops breathing, the thing sets off an alarm and I can do something about it. I think it'll definitely cut down on the anxiety when she's sleeping and I won't be compelled to check on her and make sure she's breathing every 5 minutes.

My friend has an Owlet and it works really well!
Sorry I've been MIA for so long. I've not been doing good emotionally with all the crazy stuff going on in the world. To try and cheer me up my husband put a deposit down on a Persian kitten. I've wanted one for a very very long time and now I'll be getting one! I chose a baby and we'll get weekly photos and then get to bring him home in August.

I've never met a mother who isn't! And that paranoia never seems to go away, no matter how many kids you have. I think the extra sleep I'm going to get alone is worth the money spent!
I think Owlets are a great idea! I'm pretty sure I'd be a nervous wreck if I had a baby.

I've never heard of that but it is a wonderful thing to have!! When David had Grayson, (nephew and his son), he bought a camera
and slept with it; it also had sound...make him feel secure He and Grayson's mom broke up when G was one, he was 5 yesterday,
and they have shared custody so David had him a lot. Wonder why he didn't buy Owlet.
