I am glad I will do that trip only once
I think I had too much to drink waiting to drive on the ferry :drinking:
And a few more after she sailed :bunnydance:
The boys were locked up inside one day
Then they wanted walkies, and off they took
I could not find them
But they were by the back door by the time I went to bed
They don't mind the rain too much
Have I been busy, yes I have
Now where is that drink :drinking: cheers

What a beautiful little face! :lovecat:
Thank you tarasgirl. It was indeed that expression on Sombra's face that I couldn't resist when I decided to adopt her although I was looking for an older kitten. I have not regretted it because although she is a handfull of sassiness she is also a tender soul and the source of much amusement.

I couldn't resist, either! *Of course, I've never met a cat or kitten I could resist, and I don't plan to try. Ever.* :catlove:

Thank you everyone on your wishes that Monster & Menace arrived safely (I did too)
the car was packed, it was more crammed after these photos and the boot and the passenger seat

the poor little buggers were not happy to spend the night in this thing
IMG_20180712_172443.jpg

at least they had a dog as company
we got to our new home not long after sunrise, they checked out the joint of course

the boys were inside while I unpacked the car. Then I went to the post office & they had their cat trees ready to be picked up
I was going to do shopping & pick up my speakers the next day so I spent 6 hours putting both cat trees together (so they had something to do while I was away)

while they were lounging around enjoying their new cat trees, I had fish & chips while looking out over Bass Strait, and this is a winters day?

don't worry, it has pretty well rained everyday since. At least the boys don't mind the rain too much (it must be all the water I squirted at them when they were little terrors, now they have grown up to be big terrors)
They were inside for one day & night before I let them loose on the town
I don't know where they disappear to, but they find their way back.
They go out first thing in the morning & they go out as soon as it gets dark.
It has been hectic with me unpacking & the boys attacking what I unpack, now where is that moonshine :drinking:

valou999 valou999 Loki does look like he's sittin' in tall cotton, as we say! I'm always so glad to see people providing well for their beloved cats in this way. That's a beautiful activity center-- for a gorgeous guy cat! :cloud9::climbcat:

And beardrinksbeer beardrinksbeer -- you all are going to LOVE living there, I can just feel it! *And I see you have your sign out already* Good to see that the most precious cargo of all -- cats and IT stuff -- were stowed safely for the journey. Enjoy, all!

Loki enjoying his brand new cat tree!

His expression seems to say... "This appears to be satisfactory for my needs. I accept this gift, hooman. Now leave me I must rest..."
Clearly he’s king of all he surveys...and everything he can’t survey as well because, you know, he is Cat. (I see why you named him Loki. He appears to have a tail growing from his stomach in the second photo, thus reinforcing my belief that cats are completely fluid and select the form they wish to take at any given moment. Tricksters!)

Sombra's first time View attachment 242916 on the only cat tree level she hadn't yet occupied
We have a cat hammock in one of our activity centers, too. Angel Rani used to love it. I haven't seen anyone up in it for a long, long time, but it's there for anyone to enjoy. Sombra looks like she really likes hers! :cloud9:

beardrinksbeer beardrinksbeer - Thanks for all the photos - especially Bass Strait and those laser-eyes kitties! I have an hunch that tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 is right - this place looks fantastic, and I think it will suite you perfectly.

I'm not certain about living so close to Lake Roseberry, with all those poisonous flying Stingray Sharks, but no worries, right?

;)
