Here we have Willy checking out a strange scent on this branch... This was taken back in autumn.
Korinmewmew - I'll second that - you picked a lovely spot for watching the sun set, and Korin really has grown into a beautiful girl!Korinmewmew ... Korin -as well as the sunset- looks magnificent !!!
Oh good Heavens how beautiful! I grew up in the country and always thought I'd get back out there someday. This made so homesick I could cry, I don't know how I missed before today.@basscat - This really doesn't belong here since there aren't even any "et cetera animals" in the shot, but I knew that you'd appreciate it. In February of 2015, when temperatures began to rise a little after our -20F cold snap, some of the "sleepers" must have awakened to stretch their legs after the brutal temperatures abated and we had a little snowfall. Here's a shot taken just at sunset of raccoon tracks crossing the path near the front of the woods leading down to the river:

That's one of my favourite things about living outside the confines of the city - being able to follow tracks, and to get an idea about the activities of the animals who inhabit the woodlands and riverbank here.
Sorry, all - nothing to see here.

What a beautiful video, mightyboosh. This is the only outdoor media I've got. It's our dear, lovely, sadly departed Poppy. Please forgive the wobbliness of the video.
So sorry you lost dear Jasmine especially so soon after losing your dear friend Sadie. What killed Jasmine"My sweet Jasmine out in the veggie garden with me, about a week before she was killed. Her and her sister Lily had been lying under the plants, until I called them to come on back to the house. I just happened to bring my camera that day, she stood up and looked at me, as if "what?"
What an amazingly gorgeous cat. I can practically feel the silky fur through the screen!!I know I posted a picture similar to This one awhile ago, but the sunset was stunning today. I’m disappointed that I cut off her tail in the picture though.

A family of fox moved into the area. They killed a small dog, and several other cats, before they were dispatched. I was grilling dinner, and the girls were playing around me. I called them to come, and they didn't, which was usual, when it was time to go inside. By the time I brought the food in the house, and put a pot on the stove to cook something else, they had attacked and gone. Her sister Lily was on the roof of an outbuilding with a bite on her belly...our hearts are in shreds still...So sorry you lost dear Jasmine especially so soon after losing your dear friend Sadie.
