I'll be brining pork chops later on to be thrown on the grill. A quick veggie (cabbage, onion, carrots, asparagus, a fresh yellow pepper, sliced, and a chopped tomato...it's what in the fridge) stir-fry to go with. I don't have a recipe for stir-fry; I just throw in whatever I have on hand. And strawberry shortcake for dessert. I don't actually make shortcake. Rick's mom always made a Betty Crocker recipe for sweet muffins and she used that for her strawberry shortcake. That's what I do, too, because that's how Rick likes it. With vanilla ice cream, of course!
