I had a button that I bought at a science fiction convention many years ago that said that, but the original is lost and I think I got the quote wrong. It's intended as a parody of the line from Lord of the Rings: "Do not meddle in the affairs of Wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger," so it probably ought to read "Do not meddle in the affairs of cats, for they are subtle and will piss on your computer." But somehow "Meddle not" just feels more right...

Feel free to use whatever version of it you like, however, if you like. I doubt that the button was copyrighted; most of them show no sign of copyright notices, and parody of copyrighted material (LOTR) is entirely legal. If you wanted to correct it to make the parody closer you could also make the reference more obvious with a picture of a kitten in a wizard's hat.
