This website is just trying to sell you a vacuum. I would say pretty much everyone who has a cat uses a regular vacuum - there shouldn't be a problem.I read it here:
Can You Vacuum Cat Litter? - Clean That Floor
Yeah I don’t think any of that should be an issue unless you’re vacuuming up big puddles of cat pee regularly. Vacuums are made to suck up dust and dirt, they can handle cat litter.I read it here:

Good point! Obviously, if for some reason there is a little clump of litter with pee in it (or, poop, for that matter) dragged outside the box, I pick that up as it happens - certainly before I would vacuum that area.Yeah I don’t think any of that should be an issue unless you’re vacuuming up big puddles of cat pee regularly
Me eitherHi. I have always used a regular vacuum cleaner to remove litter and have never had a problem with doing so.
I bought that exact vacuum about 3-4 years ago. I love it. Well worth’s investment. Has made life a lot easy. For litter that is tracked on the carpet I have always used a regular vacuum with no problem and it's laster for years - both cat and dog shedding as well as litter. For the bathroom floor where we keep the litter box I've found this handheld vacuum to be exceptional:
I bought my Animal Dyson many years ago and it's still going strong, wish they made a cordless one back then.I invested in a cordless Dyson. It's pricey, but the suction is great for having pets and it's cordless so it's easy to just grab quickly and clean up litter/fur.
That is odd, they say you need a special vacuum and then they just list a bunch of regular vacuums when you click on the link for a special cat litter vacuumI read it here:

~ I believe it's the attachment - not the vacuum that matters. That is odd, they say you need a special vacuum and then they just list a bunch of regular vacuums when you click on the link for a special cat litter vacuum
They don’t mention any special attachment either though, and they say it will damage a regular vacuum.~ I believe it's the attachment - not the vacuum that matters.
