Ewww. Bad dentists are no fun. My last bad experience at the dentist was the last straw for me and I found a new dentist who takes poverty insurance. *shudders*
My replacement phone arrived today!
-1: I'm stuck at school until 2 pm.
-2: I tried doing some yoga last night to calm down from the stress of running all over campus trying to find my phone yesterday after it was taken out of the ladies room, and my knee locked on me. The best way I can describe what happened is a stuck hinge. It wasn't horribly painful but I can definitely tell it's weak and not thrilled about things today, and yoga got interesting trying to keep weight on it. I talked with the professor before class about it and as soon as I get my student loan refunds I'm going to my chiropractor. Urgent Care here will just say to ice it. It's the third time I've experienced the stuck hinge situation with it since May, so at this point I'm pretty sure it's an alignment problem. Either way, my chiropractor will be able to do way more for it than Urgent Care will.
+1: A friend of my dad's who hikes a lot has a hiking backpack that is too small for him, and offered it to me when I was asking around for recommendations for backpacks that can hold up to heavy college textbooks and having to hike a mile or more from the car park to class. We're going hiking this weekend to see how the pack works for me (and because all these human behavior side training certificates my program is requiring for social work are starting to make my eyes cross and blur everything).
