tarasgirl06 tarasgirl06 I had thin noodles with tomato sauce and vegetables and Romano cheese, maybe she didn't like the vegetables? Thanks for letting me know the reasons cats bury because I have seen Speedy do this scratching around her dining area, but never around my plate! :) She is very methodical and meticulous! :dizzycat:

I am hoping to watch Masterpiece, also! I love all the series, they are very well-done.

I know this may sound like a trivial pawsitive post but I was pleasantly surprised today. While waiting for my Americano the barista told me the person ahead of me took it with her other drinks. :disappointed: He left the store and went running after her. When he lost sight of her he came back, apologized, made me a new drink and came over to talk to me. He was extremely personable and I appreciated his extra effort.

Tonight I had one of those rare but magical belly-laughs that makes everything right with the world. Those things are powerful - I just stepped barefoot in cat puke and still feel cheery.

Behold Abbot and Costello doing the old classic "Who's on First" routine. I've never seen it performed before but a friend sent it my way tonight and this thread immediately came to mind!

Sadie came and sat on my lap last night.

:thud:

She's been living with me since she was about four months old. She and her three feral born sisters decided to move in with us in December 2012. The other three sisters are very snuggly, but this is the first time Sadie has ever sat on my lap. I can pet her when she's in the mood, but she's always been a lot more skittish than her sisters.

I was sitting on the sofa with a big blanket over me and Marley, Sadie's BFF, was sitting next to me. I think that's what convinced her to get a bit closer.

Let's hope she'd finally decided I can be trusted.

Norachan Norachan - When you actually get to witness "the moment" it's never anything short of magical. Congratulations; no matter how many times it's happened that you've "won over" a feral, the Miracle never fails to warm you right to the Heart. Bravo - and, "bravo," to Sadie too!

Norachan Norachan , that is wonderful about Sadie! She is very beautiful.

I'm waiting for my coffee which is Soooo paw-sitive anytime, but it always gets me going and I need to get moving for work! Speedy is here, sitting so cute watching the birds, She must be half-asleep because she is trilling at every bird at the feeder and hardly any noise is coming out.:)

Here's something probably only cat lovers would find pawsitive: Mowgli just chucked up a hairball while sitting on his window perch, and it didn't go down inside the radiator!
:lol::crackup::lol:
So funny! This morning as I was getting ready for work, I was so pleased that Sam's hairball landed OUTSIDE of my shoe. (this time)

Awesome Norachan! It’s so special and you have to sit there and be calm for the cat while your heart is just leaping all over the place!

jcat jcat - I'm sure you're right about this event being strictly for cat people. I laughed so hard that I cleared the office of cats!

It's raining here today on Lake Ontario's south shore - washing away the last remaining snow. Bad news if you're a wool sweater; great news if you're a lawn!

1CatOverTheLine 1CatOverTheLine -- Snowing in Ottawa, big snow flakes. Zoe is going to be pissed off when I get home. She enjoyed the melt over the weekend but with new white stuff on the ground she is going to be an upset cat. Taz won't go out in the snow but he doesn't seem to get upset over it. Poor Zoe, that was the second melt this year and she misses the outdoors quite a bit. Rusty has taken to wanting to go out as well but also hates the snow, looks like a harness and leash are in Rusty's near future. Kitty doesn't go near the door, she may want to go out if her brother does. I still have Taz and Zoe's harness and leash so I have a set ready to go. Taz and Zoe go outside off leash and don't leave our property, I hope Rusty and possibly Kitty learn from their big step brother and sister. I think it is pawsitive I don't have to spend money on a harness and leash, more money for treats and toys :)

Shane Kent Shane Kent - Not to mention materials for cat trees and specialised cat furniture! The new cat tree is fabulous; have you considered a full-blown "building a cat tree," thread in The Cat's Meow, or perhaps a TCS article?

It didn't quite get to fifty degrees here today, but despite that, the lawn's almost uncovered - and while I don't have bug, fluffy snowflakes outside, I do have some big fluffy cats inside.

Oh, yeah - and chocolate-black raspberry cheesecake! Alicia88 Alicia88 - I tried my best to send to a slice to you as an attachment through the TCS Private Message thingie, but no dice. Not to worry, though - your slice was just as delicious as mine!

;)

Shane Kent Shane Kent -- be sure to let us know how they enjoy walking in the snow on harness and leash! We bought the set when we were in the Mojave so we could walk each of our house cats out in the snow and let them experience it. For the most part, it was a quick step out and an even quicker step back into the catio and from there, into the warm living room!
And yes, more money for more treats and toys is a very PAWSitive thing, I think we'd all agree!

Well, thanks for trying! Lol
Aedan rolled over for the first fine this morning. Belly to back. He's a strong little guy - shouldn't be able to do that yet.
Alicia88 Alicia88 - maybe Aedan has been observing the kitties...:)

I had a very relaxing day off today. Sleeping in, enjoying the silence, cuddling with the cat, chatting with friends, spending time to cook...
