OMG! It's here!!!!

Thank you very, very much!!! I have not opened it because I am still so busy preparing for Christmas (shopping, cooking, cleaning house, visiting relatives and friends, work...) Even my cats only see mommy during meals and late in the night. I want to enjoy taking time opening it.

The only clue of my SS now is that she is from CA, US (thanks FedEx)

There was a nice package sitting in the snow on my front porch, when I came home today! No, I didn't peek, where it said "do not peek!" So I have no idea who my Secret Santa is.

My dark side was in charge today, so I opened the outer box. Actually, my dark side was hoping that there were gifts that weren't wrapped, so my light side could be smug about not opening any. (Schizophrenia, anyone?)

The girls were quite interested in the box.



The wand toy didn't stand a chance. I barely got a picture of Maggie toting it off somewhere in the bowels of the basement....never to be seen again....except, of course, when she brings it up on the bed to play at 3 am!!!



Here's the loot! My dark side is bummed that everything was wrapped. Although my dark side did rejoice at being able to feast my eyes on a cute little felt snowman bag. My light side (the little harpy) kept saying that Christmas Eve is only 24ish hours away.




I shall post more pics when....either my dark side wins, and I rip everything open with wild abandon....or my light side wins, and I demurely open everything on Christmas Eve!

You want the Dark Side cookies. We use real chocolate. The Light Side cookies use imitation chocolate.

The funniest thing is....she had it clamped in her jaws and was starting away with it, even as my brain was registering that it was there!!!

Oh yeah, Maggie doesn't even have a light side, lol!

I just want my Secret Santa to know that I received a package today. I'm doing some snooping as to who you might be before I unwrap the gifts.


I did open up the big box and pulled all the packages out and they are on my dining room table. Scarlett hopped into the box (mom - they got me a box!) and Koko started to nibble on the bag with the cat and dog treats (thank you for those!).


I'll post pictures as I unwrap a bit later. My dark side has been somewhat appeased by the fact that DH and I are already opening presents to each other. And besides, I have a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies in my kitchen to tie me over! The kids will get their treats - no denying Koko anything in this household!
