Zeus and Adonis, two more of the feral kitties, have learned to trust enough to be adopted!!! Yay! Not only that, but two of my foster kittens, Zeke and Honor, are up for adoption! I hope they find a home quick. It would be so great if it were together too.

Catalina and Nostalgia were returned a few days ago and should be getting spayed soon, if they haven't been already. We're taking a short rest from foster kitties because the bad litter box habits led to maggots in the carpet. Yeah, we want to enjoy a clean carpet for a few weeks.

So nice that more kittens have found homes.

I've decided cats and carpets don't mix. Wooden floors are so much easier to keep clean.

This is my cute kitty fix thread.
Hermes looks like a cuddlebug and Jager has such 'take me home' eyes. :redheartpump:

They're all so lovely, I'd take them all home with me if I could.

Cora looks a bit nervous. Do you know anything about her history?

We took in about 30 cats from a situation that had gotten out of control. The owner was ill and couldn't keep them and they weren't in the best of health either. Cora, Boots, Spiderman, Kazi, Shoo Shoo, Story, Ser, Stevie and Sixx were all cats from that case, and were shy when they first arrived, even biting until they settled down. Poor Cora is getting use to the new place, but hopefully will realize it's good and begin exploring. : )

Its very kind of you to share all those pictures with us....it must take alot of your time plus volunteering with the cats.

You probably already told us.... but what happened to "gimpy"..... the cat that had one front leg amputated?

Thanks. I love doing it. :rbheart:

Gimpy was renamed "Raider" which is why I didn't learn until months later that he was adopted into a wonderful home!! He was in foster for a while and I always assumed he was a dog I had never met, due to the name change. I even got to see him once when he was getting a vet check. I'm so happy for him. : )

Thank you for the update. Im glad he found a home.

My wife and I agree with the "adopt, dont shop" philosophy when it comes to taking in pets. We adopted our two guys, greg and arnold. (see avatar)

I spent some time with Myra and Kazi, found in a hoarding situation. Played some gentle music and sat near-by. It's going to take them some time, but hopefully the shy ones will find perfect homes soon, homes that understand them.

Audrey is still here, getting chunky. : )

Kazi is so shy, the poor girl. She got excited watching the kitten play but when she came out it scared her with it's antics and she ran and hid. Poor girl.

Myra is a total sweetie. Hopefully her crinkled ear and older age do not deter people from a beautiful, sweet cat.
