Bo the kitten was adopted by a nice family. Then, the next day, they came back asking to adopt his brother! Yay! Clyde and Bo found a home together. : )

Aww, that's great. I'm glad those two got to stay together.
:yeah: It's lovely when adopters go, give it good throught, and then come back. You know they've thought it through and mean it.
Emeline has stolen my heart. :redheartpump:

Tobie and Boris, a bonded pair that was fostered, are actually not related!! One of them came in around 2 weeks and the other came in around 6 weeks, yet they look so similar! Anyways, they were adopted today!!!!

They were a little shy in this photo because they had just come out of foster and gone to the shelter to go up for adoption.

More good news.

Toby and Boris look so much like Buddy and Georgia in the second picture!

Kazi! A one-eyed bob-tail, he really should have come to live with me.

I don't believe they did. It's always nice when they are adopted together, but it doesn't always happen.

Cheddar and Finn were both adopted!! Spiderman and Sir William went into long-term foster, as they were both shy. They get to live out on a farm together! Yay!

Cheddar is the orange tabby, Finn is the grey and white.

That's good.

Do you find that black cats stay at the shelter for a long time? I've heard they are harder to re-home than cats of other colours.

It generally is much harder, though honestly it depends on the cat. It happens with dogs too. They say it is because they may be harder to see when in enclosures, they don't have as unique markings that help them stand out and their face is harder to read because of how dark it is. After adopting Nocturne, however, I've kind of fell in love with black cats. They are the sweetest things ever!!!

But yes, in general, black cats seem to take longer to be adopted then cats of other colors.
