Beautiful! It's the older, one-eyed, crinkly-eared cats that get me every time. They'd be the ones I'd take home with me.

It generally is much harder, though honestly it depends on the cat. It happens with dogs too. They say it is because they may be harder to see when in enclosures, they don't have as unique markings that help them stand out and their face is harder to read because of how dark it is. After adopting Nocturne, however, I've kind of fell in love with black cats. They are the sweetest things ever!!!That's good.
Do you find that black cats stay at the shelter for a long time? I've heard they are harder to re-home than cats of other colours.
