Thank you. They do more than pose for pretty pictures. Mercy eating wet food again. We are starting to feel hopeful. Only cat parents understand the War Of The Foods.Love those, love them, love them. Especially the Tabbinese Tigers in the kitchen...but then, there is Mercy, sneezing, but then...Oh, dowaddles. I love them all.
There is always wet down here with three other cats eating. I open one can at a time. If it's gone I put down more. if it sits too long I toss. I don't toss very much. A lot of it seems to be the monkey see monkey do. The babies are like feeding ravenous piranhas so maybe it looks like something she should have too. Cats don't like other cats having what they don't have.Yeah. I've given up on Hekitty. She actually went 3 days without eating a bite of wet. I was afraid to let her go any longer, so the kibbles came out. That said, she does drink water like a fiend (no diabetes...I asked, she's just fat and thirsty). I'd love to go to wet, as they are generally lower in calorie. Meh girlio needs to shed some pounds.
A skedaddle is Mercy flipping out of the bowl like greased lightening. The bowl went flying, treats scattered and the scale shut off. What is a skedaddle? Demi weighs 12 pounds and Maggie weighs 9 pounds.
I actually got what a "skedaddle" was...our minds work in the same way on some things...mostly a lively sense of the absurd.Cat weights
BabyMook 10lbs 3oz.
The Tabbinese Tigers just days from 11 months
Frog 11lb 9oz.
Toad 9lb 12oz.
Little Mercy weighs exactly one skedaddle (She'll be two on Aug 1st.
When the Tabbinese Tigers were little I used to put them in a pasta pot and put the lid on. You can hug and cuddle but the second she thinks something is up she can turn inside out in 4 directions at the same time.Mercy, you are the best! I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair. Maggie is the same way, so I weigh her in the carrier on this huge vegetable scale, then I subtract the 6 pounds that the carrier weighs. I probably need to get a more exact digital scale though.
They are incredibly shiny and their coats are like running your hands though silkGOOD LORD! Are you using Johnson's Wax on those two? They are growing up too beautiful for words. And Mercy's plume is NOT to be discounted! Waiting for another good one of Mook, although I know she is more of a challenge than the other three.
